So, not much progress. We didnt code that auto transcribe software for happy songs yet.
So we will try old fashion way, by doing it by hand.
It seems that not all songs on this page are the same http://otp22.referata.com/wiki/User:Busy
Thus we have to transcribe and decode them to see what kind of messages they contain.
Although it is strange that only one we transcribed fully is the same as message from oct 2012, announcing component drops.
We need your help!
Here is tutrial how to transcribe "happy songs".
Post resulted binary in pastebin and post links in wiki or here.
For next steps we will reuse old scripts we have after we get ahold of OTPers that have them.
Holiday season and that.
EDIT: on tutorial picture there is mistake second bit is 1 no 0, and few others, so it should be
Code:
11100101 10011101 ??? 01111110 ...

In file there are some interrupts and mistakes, due to bad phone line, or maybe prerecorded, not sure.
If you do transcribing keep in mind that we dont know how many bits are lost during those interrupts/artifacts, so focus on transcribing and decoding bits of songs that are seamless.
Also we need to figure out if all recordings of "happy song" are the same or is it different for each call.

[10:32] <w_larsen> at least the top 3 files in the users list
[10:34] <w_larsen> the repeat is the same\
[10:41] <w_larsen> older ones seems different
[14:16] <Lurker69> User Ymgve noticed that XORing the bytes of data.bin (from 524287677 onward) with the 300-byte payload of the message and a constant value produced a large amount of ASCII characters,
[14:17] <Lurker69> i am wondering what did you mean by "constant value" ?
[14:19] <Ymgve> it was data.bin XOR message XOR 0x80

Kinda important:
I think I found binary code in happy song on 709 number
709_700_0122 709 number is one that had previously played unsolved "scrambled messages" and latter "interrupted prerecorded busy signal"
Spectro:
(my usual spetro making setup is terribly broken, so i can provide only this spectro from Spectrumlab)
Someone else do proper one in audacity or our spetrogram16
Anyways spectrum is very similar to one from "ice cream van song" mentioned above.
Clearly 8 bit binary. Needs transcribing and decoding.

We have some more MD calls

[02:24] <bobdamnit> 179 isn't on the list
[02:24] <bobdamnit> Are these UTM cords?
[02:26] <bobdamnit> Coordinates aren't in list either!!
[02:30] <bobdamnit> Converted coordinates are: http://www.rcn.montana.edu/resources/maps/gmap.aspx?nav=11&mapscale=14&lat=5.53024016039755&lon=62.0952468748727
[02:38] <bobdamnit> 131252: Diego Garcia
[02:40] <bobdamnit> Also, 131252 is the same as 64832
[02:49] <bobdamnit> 131211: 139 is 19/322229/5106803. More coordinates. Again, not in the list. (As either 131211 or 139) Will be back with lat/long. Also, MD let me read this back to him and even said "your welcome" when I said thank you!
[02:55] <bobdamnit> Here is converted coordinates: (in Canada, quebec, thetford mines) right off Canada highway 267. http://www.rcn.montana.edu/resources/maps/gmap.aspx?nav=11&mapscale=14&lat=46.0916395228009&lon=-71.2996475359203

[07:41] <Gwraspe> wish i recorded that...
[07:41] <Gwraspe> we also agreed WORM sucks for their technology hha.
[07:43] <Lurker69> if you will have another opportunity try to aks him gently around this topic
[07:43] <Lurker69> maybe using WORM vocabulary
[07:43] <Lurker69> MX TICKET or how they call hardware issues
[07:44] <Lurker69> is.gd/ie5lHU ctrl-f this link for "ticket"
[07:44] <Lurker69> maybe we will find some magical word that will allow us to report the problem
[07:45] <Lurker69> IIRC MD said once that "operations guy" is responsible for hardware issues and fixing stuff
We called and left message for this number in april 2013.
"So far we don't have too much, aside from leaving a message for Jonston Atoll (A16395) with the message desk. The message was "I found your list". We'll see what happens I suppose. "
Todays answer was:
Code:
"message for Q Jonston: unavailable"
I think the I hear the audio as "message queue for Johnston(sp?) unavailable"

[04:07] Gwraspe waiting result on computer i'd think
[04:08] bobdamnit background speak about a login question. real quick (loud response like he is trying to cover background speaking up) after background speak "Ok, 6880 is 0" hangup
[04:10] bobdamnit i couldnt make out all that was said about login in the background. sorry

[05:21] bobdamnit sounds like he is using a rotary phone to type it in. says some stuff about "rocketship" prompt. talks about restarting the whole thing by typing "go reinit". some convo about maybe being a better way to do this, but not sure.
[05:21] bobdamnit says something about IBM OS400, but he doesnt know. says yes, it still exists
[05:24] bobdamnit more convo i cant make out, doesn't seem important anyway. comes back and says "4357 is a mobile number, and that is going to be 0302266" hangup

[05:26] Xkeeper huh. well, feel free to try whatever else. i'm at a loss.
[05:26] Xkeeper md was always just this weird thing out ther
[05:27] bobdamnit nothing i can find says IBM OS/400 has a 'go reinit" command
[05:28] Xkeeper tell him to put it in or something I guess
[05:28] bobdamnit he was tellingn someone else to put that in to solve the rocketship prompt
[05:29] bobdamnit nothing about OS/400 having a "rocket ship" prompt either
[05:32] Xkeeper ==>
[05:32] Xkeeper is probably the rocket prompt

Exceps 48 poland numbers are back on playing sirens as they did in september and november.
And CD (cleveland direct 412 888 0004) still works.
Controller, deploy, etc still work "MELTER bipbipbibpbipbbip boop"
