Missoula Drop
Drop retrieved by a wonderful, nice, beautiful friend of a friend who lives in Missoula. This transaction is how we always hope a drop retrieval to go.
The prize? A stamped meterstick. lolwut

A few things: First, we received a new message on AS27, presumably about DROP4 which was compromised. Morningcoffee and myself (L0j1k) have been leaving QX messages to try and sort the situation out, both to psychologically distance Ai and her "field agents" from being counterops, and to try and trigger a new drop with the information that was lost at the Grand Canyon:
Second, I received the following information from our Grand Canyon (DROP4) drop agent about the picture received:
It appears that our drop agent is NOT the guy in the picture. Personally, I trust this guy to be able to identify himself more than a bunch of us (or even PM). If he says it isn't him, then I'm going with that. That opens up the question of whom this person was, taking a picture of something at the precise drop coordinates. It's possible that this was the person who compromised the drop. If so -- and if this person knew to compromise the drop -- we can assume it was a Redditor who came across our drop information. I find it highly unlikely that someone would pick up the paper at the drop site and then also take pictures of the drop site unless they were there to retrieve the drop. This is purely speculative. Finally, TonyTwoFish/TonyInICT looked over several webcams of the Grand Canyon and has determined that the camera used to surveil the drop site was probably placed by WORM/PM, and not a public trail cam (that he could find). This is interesting because it could indicate that a WORM field agent is ON SITE. If true, this matches up with the "Keep surveillance of drop site active" messages we received previously on AS27. Upon a random check of 16041, the number 69004 was given before the creepy music.
When 69004 was called, it was discovered to be SSTV Here are the images:

Grand Canyon Drop
Damn. So we had a volunteer field agent (from Reddit) named Jonah head out to the drop site on Saturday morning at around 1100. He drove quite a ways (>170 miles) to get to the site, so hats off to him and E for effort!
He spent some time scouring the drop site and found some graffiti scratched into a rock very near the coords. At this point he called me (L0j1k) on my cell and we talked over what's normal and what's not. I mentioned that PMs very likely would not damage a national park (!) by etching words into the rocks, and that it is very most likely hidden under a rock, possibly a note in a ziploc bag. The field agent searched for another fifteen or twenty minutes at the site but did not find anything. Lo! A few minutes later, TonyInICT discovered that AS36->16041 had changed to "69004" and upon dialing, discovered a series of four SSTV images of the Grand Canyon drop. The pictures showed (surprise!) a paper note inside of what appears to be a ziploc bag, underneath a rock. I sent these pictures to our field agent after he had already left the drop location, and in return, he said that he specifically had searched those rocks, even moving some of them to look underneath, but had not found anything like a ziploc bag with paper in it.
