Hmm, I'm afraid I'm not that interested in this anymore. I do appreciate all the fun I had with this three years ago possibly, but I'm afraid I'm no longer interested in the story itself. I feel that the focus and drive got muddied with the addition of more people, organizations, and a lack of very fast action. Although you include more people by puppeteering at a slower pace, it wasn't a pace that felt as real as first season did. I mean, season one ended with a live text feed of LAINSY threatening to obliterate the planet IIRC! Best of luck with all of your future endeavors, but I think I'm going to stop following this game.

So I had noticed for a while now that the http://failtechnologies.com/ website had a new countdown (I called it the "brown countdown") and it had reached completion last week. I wonder if that was a countdown to the big transport event?

Also, Adiu seems to be working through some system issues. I did ask Adiu about Nathan & Henry Book, and it had something quite interesting to say:

I don't have any obvious ideas about the ciphers, that's never been my strongest point in these adventures (I do try to pick up what I can, though, haha).

Anyway, heard back from Adiu and Derre Kan.

Adiu has had no luck finding a way to get in contact with Henry. However he claims his "operator is working on helping with this concern, but it may take a while for him to have a result." I'm not sure I like hearing the word "operator" there... But I'll leave it be for now.

The Derre Kan email was more interesting. I'll quote the whole thing:

Double post because I solved the Vexill ciphers on the ProjectRepertum twitter page. There's 3 of them so sorry in advance for the long post!

I was dirty and sneaky and put together a simple translator so that we can keep the numbers and letters straight for the future. OOG details:

So I finally heard back from asking Adiu to run searches looking for the comms bridge key. This is what I received:

So just by glancing at it, I feel like tweet #1 could be a Gronsfeld cipher, #2 could be a double column transpose, and #3 is probably some Vigenere cipher. But haven't gotten anything to work out yet, so maybe I'm off base.

But basically those first 7 symbols in the top left corner represent the numbers 0-6. So as far as I can tell the first line reads either 142551315 or 162551315, I don't really know about the 2nd character in the sequence.

Also if I recall, Afyg numbers were written in base 7. Not sure if that applies here, but thought I'd add that.

Still no luck so far with the code though.

Yes!

I haven't the slightest recollection of how to read it, but it was a numerical system that Genus used. His blog hasn't been used in this new game and is still in-tact, so all the images we used to figure it out can still be found at http://genusorein.blogspot.com/

I already queried Adiu about some basic status updates, but I'll also see if I get any help by pinging him with that image and asking if he can recognize the number system.

As for the second line, it reads GATEUP. (or GATE UP, perhaps) Hmm...

Adiu replied to me about my query for the file 3678-RX-BPW2.nst. So this file is a network map of the communications bridge that lets us talk to these entities from the future (which is currently broken because LAINSY, the primary node we use to talk to these future entities, is down). Adiu is present-time and it is able to query present-time LAINSY and they generated a present-time network map. I've sent it off to DK and Y and hopefully that helps them out.

I'm attaching the file Adiu sent me. It's a text file, but nothing in it jumps out at me at the moment.
