Well, okay, but there's no way I'd have found anything on that without cather's comments.
Hee's one of my favorite movies:

wow. If someone had asked me if i had seen "Lone Star" I would have said no. I must have gone with a film buff friend at the time. Interesting how the visuals made more of an impact on me than the title.
Rogi Ocnorb found the title, I only provided the clues. I do have a next movie in mind, but it'll be another day before I can pull up just the right frame to give you. Rogi, if you have one waiting in the wings, go ahead.

Yes. It is Lone Star - a very good movie- Rogi and Cath can figure out who goes next! (also- I picked the movie screen for the symbolism as video practically killed the independent movie theater business- although not actually in this film - and here we are with a thread that is talkng about movies using stills we get from DVDs...yeah I've been up way too late.)

If it's Lone Star, I'd say catherwood's up. Ain't it amazin' how many movies feature abandoned drive-ins?

This is driving me nuts! I can picture in my mind the scene, a conversation between a man and a woman (not sure of their ages), and a resolution that involves what they thought was incest but it turns out they really are not blood-related after all. Tell me if i am way off base!

I can reply to spam when I wanna. Cause then, it could be a mystery. Was it really there or was I playing with you?

Speaking of.... I believe that drive-in was used in Sam Shepard's "Fool for Love" in 1985.
