The whois data says spy.co.uk was registered back in 1996 (or earlier), so I think this is just an intriguing coincidence. Interesting find, though.

I followed along with the forums for the Vanishing Point game but never really thought to contribute since I came into it kind of late but I'm looking forward to this one. As an interesting side note, I go to college in boulder, co and got trapped in the denver airport for that very blizzard trying to get home...

So, I'm very new at ARGs and I read about WWO at www.pitchforkmedia.com, my apologies for any and all music snobbery!

I did some rudimentary exploratory googling on the name Nico and found a website called www.spy.co.uk within which I found this:

My feeeling was that it may be used to help set the initial group divisions to allow for players to split into groups to explore and focus on certain theories to share with the group as a whole.

From my conversation with mpathy, I felt like they were suggesting that they will perhaps pick one person for each Sci fi writer depending on your answers.
Hense why they asked for you to post results in their journal.
