It's on the website of a journalist in RL. I suspect it's OOC - ie: he's making a joke about bad crowds. But that none of the people in the picture are IG characters.

Edit: The photos I was referring to were the photos on Inniscool's photobucket. Link to pic of yuppies has been removed as it's OOG.

While I'm not totally convinced the new photo album belongs to one of the 8tsoc (it sounds like Pachinko stumbled across it), I think that it's definitely IG. Otherwise, half of 8tsoc wouldn't be fretting over whether or not it was Nico in that picture, after it was posted by Pachinko.

Yeah. I'm fairly certain it's significant. My theory (loosely collaborated by dessum5 on the lj community) is that it's Nico's pictures. That he took the picture of himself, even (which would explain where his hands are) and might give some insight into where he was traveling to. We haven't decoded it all yet, but I think it's highly significant.

Since it has a picture of Nico, i'd say it's highly likely.

I wonder if asking us to pick science fiction author alter-egos is symbolic - that we'll need to use speculative ideas/fictions in order to mitigate Peak Oil. Traditional ideas won't work... science fiction might. Etc.
