Nuts -- I was just starting to type in Moby Dick and got called away to an *important* meeting.
Double Nuts -- I recognize this image, but can't drag it out of the rusty brain...

Moby Dick... and it was by the docks... I feel stupid. Were the men in the back in three-cornered hats?
The next one might be easy but not to me.

Who'd a thunk this game would go on this long?
Okay... I'll go easy on you all.

Ahab says:
"Thou art correct. With my last breath I shall congratulate ye for guessing the 400th movie in this accursed game!"

Well, Call me Ishmael. According to the "Movies with Gold Coins Nailed to Ship's Foremasts" site... I'll have to go with "Moby Dick".
Though I really don't remember the sinking scene looking like that.
But we do have the "animals" hint and I don't think it's "Swiss Family Robinson".

No, sorry.
New stills:
And yes, this movie would register prominently on the Internet Movie Databases for Gold Coins, Sinking Ships and Animals. (On top of the already established Stone Quays, Wooden Barrels and Tri-corner Hats.) No cars or hitch-hikers, though.

None of the above. Getting warmer with the naval theme, though.
More word clues:
1. Most of you will have seen this movie.
2. The guy in the stillshot only has this one scene. He's talking to the main character for a short while, telling him something very important.
If these don't cut it, I'll be back with another screen in a bit.

You better work fast, 'cause when I'm finished compiling 'Wooden Barrels in the Movies' first, I'll beat you to guessing this one
