Smart thinking there - I never even connected it to that song.

I looked up the entire lyrics:

Artist: Billie Holiday Lyrics
Song: I'll Be Seeing You Lyrics
I'll be seeing you
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
All day through.

In that small cafe;
The park across the way;
The children's carousel;
The chestnut trees;
The wishin' well.

I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day;
In every thing that's light and gay.
I'll always think of you that way.

I'll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.

I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day;
In every thing that's light and gay.
I'll always think of you that way.

I'll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.

Sure sounds like a song for BA doesn't it?

I'm not sure what the botanical garden in Staten Island has, but it is a certainly worth keeping in mind.

Thanks for posting this and welcome to unfiction Feline Femme.

Feline Femme
Hey, this is my first post and my friend Ravenwolf said I should mention this. Feline's sing off reminds me of an old song called "I'll be seeing you".
The lyrics sound like some of the dreams and might help out. One part of the song is:

I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places
that this heart of mine embraces all year through.
Like that small cafe, the park across the way,
the children's carousel, the chestnut tree, the wishing well.

I also know that there is a botanical garden in Staten island that might have some of this stuff. I don't know for sure, but it's worh a shot, right? Let me know what you guys think, ok? Thanks! Bye.

Talismaniac, could you post p.36 of "At The Montains of Madness" please?

TIA Smile

Those traceroutes were done by HPHack, so that's how many hops from his PC to the Sentry Post and BSeeingU servers.

Both servers are in the same cluster at Dreamhost in LA.

Speaking of the traceroute:

Doesn't this:

tell us that the SO server is located in Los Angeles? Thus, if theMagician is in the "Server Room", this would be consistent with Mkaos answering rose's question about the location of theMagician:
Quote:
Nope, he's out here on the West Coast with me

and would also suggest that one of these Craigslists belong to him:

http://bsuwiki.arghive.com/Craigslist_Postings/April_17#Los_Angeles
http://bsuwiki.arghive.com/Craigslist_Postings/April_21#Los_Angeles

(hitting our wiki since they've already expired)

except that the traceroute is only hops 8- 11 (or am I reading that wrong?)
if it's just hops 8-11, then the server could be far far away.
However, looking at http://bsuwiki.arghive.com/Craigslist_Postings/April_21#Los_Angeles
it does mention "This is not just some slight of the mind. There are no tricks. "
That sounds like a reference to themagician to me.

I haven't been to SO today yet - I usually come here first, but judging by a very small reference to it, I'm understanding B.A. found SO?

If we're keeping track of this game here - isn't this like a really important breakthrough that deserves a post on the whys and wherefores?

Yes I agree that it is important. I just am not sure what to say about it. We know that BA had to know about sentry outpost from the beginning, at least since she made the packages, because she sent us to that site.

She mentions it indirectly in the Craigslist messages about the site and the tower.

She also indirectly refers to it by saying "i'm not mad" and other things that make it seems she has read the forums there. (Can you read forums if your IP is blocked? Just not post? Anyway MKaos says she doesn't see any blocked IPs for the forum, she doesn't know about the website.)

I guess I am waiting for some confirmation from the sentries that they agree she is talking about their site. It seems plain to me that she is, but I would like some comment from the sentries about it.

I would love to know what other people think.

Dreamhost is overloaded. If you visit the Dreamhost Server Status blog here, you'll see just how often it goes down and just how many clusters are affected.

(I'm looking for the post on the SO forum where a traceroute was done -- it says the names of the hosting boxes or whatever.)

"pellegrino" and "perrier", heh, in the beverage cluster:
Quote:

Both Sentry Outpost and BseeingU sites are down for me at the minute - anyone else having problems with them?

---
edited to add:
I've just tried an OOG site that shares a server with them, and that's down too - so it looks like a general ISP problem.

I'm not sure about the date, but look at the content. That's Catbert... Probably not a coincidence.

I first ran across this on the dailty WTF/Worse then Failure; but dismissed it as just some silly ad. Saw some references in the comments, and a few hours of reading later, here I am. So far it looks very interesting, going to dig deeper into the package contents now.

Some background about me: I've been a Cthulhu-nut for some years now, as well as interest and education in computers. I know a bit about crypto, so going to see what I can get from the package contents.

Interesting timing. Cthulhu is coming. Matches the watercolor idea of the monster showing up.
