Hey, am I the only one who can't go to bseeingu.com? I've tried all day and I keep getting a "Page Cannot Be Displayed" messaged. If this isn't just me, this could be something... important.

There were also rumors a while back that Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth) had signed on to do a movie of At the Mountains of Madness .
I know it's been said that there is no product being advertised with this ARG, but I found this tidbit of information interesting nonetheless: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/33238
Or maybe it's the start of another ARG.
Or maybe it's nothing.
Either way, I got to say "tidbit."
ETA: Whoops, looks like this is being discussed in Timewasters and here.
Sorry!

Not sure that this is really important right now, but I'm gonna throw it out there and see fi it sticks. I remember when the postings said we had 10 days to figure something out. I had looked up and discovered that Antares was going to be occulted by the moon that night (June 2, only visible from Australia and S. America. Somewhere near the coordinates for R'lyeh. Then came Kevin's page with the typo "IÕve". Iove was one of the names of Jupiter in Latin mythology. I was looking back through some old tarot info, since it's been forever since I've handled a deck. The Hanged Man

His leg position is the same - though upside down - to that of The Emperor (from Tarot de Marseille, forming the number 4 or Jupiter sign)
*Blink* - I though these were things that had been figured out that i just couldnt find the answers for... maybe i am finally catching up haha

If you mean the original Louisville CL, it seems to have been directed at a photographer, but we never found out who that was supposed to be. Later, the old woman holds up a picture of her, but nothing came of that either.

Unless I read out of order, there seem to be at least 2 dreamworlds.
1 in which she has replaced the angel's finger, and 1 in which this doesnt even occur to her.
This is possible. One speculation is that some of the dreamworld describes the future, other times it is describing the past and other times the present. Crazy stuff.

How can you tell who " you " is at any one point in the story. There is reference to many, obviously different people(and a cat and Providence) she calls "you".
It's pretty clear that there are several different "you"s. More recently, there have been some repeated locations (Harrisonburg, obviously, but also Stockholm, Bangladesh, Lima, etc.) that may all be for the same people. Otherwise, it is not clear at all much of the time who "you" is.

I know this is painfully obvious, but has anyone checked for angels in Providence?( REF CL 5-31 4:05 "Sometimes its better to think of a name as a description of place and time. Providence." )
I believe that all kinds of searching has been done to try to identify real angels, both in Providence and other places. Nothing obvious so far, but that doesn't mean that it's not out there somewhere.

I don't know about the virus angle, but B.A. has indeed made several snarky comments about how we seem to be chasing our tails, going nowhere, etc. We still don't know what the Dilbert was supposed to be. In fact we don't know what most of the things from the original packages are about. The BOIL thing certainly seems like a virus, though. Ironic how a site devoted to computer security gets invaded by an evil computer...thing.

Has anyone contacted B.A. claiming to be "the man on the corner"?
We *think* that the man on the corner playing the drums is Exu, who popped up on SentryOutpost and spouted some thaumaturgical nonsense and then disappeared. B.A. has been trying to get answers out of the drummer for weeks now. If the drummer is anything like Exu, I wish her luck!

where is "the rope"?
It hasn't been mentioned in a long time. If I recall it was last seen on the ground by the angel.

CL 5-15 11:12 REF to Tarot cards, also in CL 5-16 10:59. Lots of interest in the beginning about tarots, did we give up on these?
I don't know about 'give up.' Tarot does show up a lot: on BseeingU.com, on Bryce's avatar, in Alphabet City, in the CLs with the old woman. I don't know what it means, though -- unless it's a general psychic thing.

Couple of thoughts.

In anything drawn so heavily on Lovecraft mythos, that's a proper analogy, Jimmy. As I remember it, wasn't Lovecraft's major theme throughout something like 'humanity just isn't capable of dealing with this'.

I just replied to a Raleigh entry that looks like it fits the bill:
sidtheduck has arrived.
mkaos says, "have you sent BA any dreams this week?"
sidtheduck has left.
mkaos says, "hi sid!"
mkaos says, "bye sid "
mkaos says, "i always miss people"
You say, "i have not sent any dreams. I tried last week, from work, but got denied - BA must not like my PCX."
mkaos says, "I'm curious as to what might happen this week."
mkaos says, "I think I might have a theory "
You say, "oooh - what kind of theory?"
mkaos says, "I don't know. It'll be interesting to see if it works."
mkaos says, "but in Mornin' she said"
mkaos says, "hold on let me find that again"
mkaos says, "I wonder if I'm remembering more details because there are more details to remember."
mkaos says, "and, looking at the dream correlation page, there were a few dreams listed"
mkaos says, "and the dreams were pretty orderly"
mkaos says, "and seemed to make sense (as much as she ever makes sense lol)"
mkaos says, "there aren't any dreams listed this week. so, if nobody sent her dreams, I wonder what happens"
You say, "no more craigslist!!! YAY!! I mean, um. you're right. that would be interesting."
mkaos says, "or I wonder if I should call in a lot of dreams and see if I can get her to make sense"
mkaos says, "i don't know "
also, themagician misspelled "distracted" as "destracted" twice, in addition to misspelling "You're welcome".
And finally, themagician thinks Xé:3a is important.
Thats 88, 130, 58, 51, 97 in decimal ascii.
58, 82, 3A, 33, 61 in Hex.

No problem. I'm a big nut when it comes to songs and thinking of random stuff. When I couldn't get the song out of my head, Ravenwolf said I should post. I have six cats and wierd dreams too, so he thinks this game is perfect for me. I'll be sure to mention anything else I can think of. ttyl!
