Oh! She was right about the Mark Hamill thing?? Ha! I doubted her after the whole Marylin Manson affair.

Anyway, i'm too swamped to look for a frame at the moment, so someone else can post one if they like.

While your friend is right about Mark Hamill (heavy reconstruction but he never looked the same after), she's wrong about Marilyn Manson. NOT Josh Saviano.

That's the one!
A special movie for me as three months before it came out, I was the high school kid saving a corvette from the junkyard. Trailering it home, at one point, a brand new '78 Pace Car and a cherry C3 were flanking us going down the boulevard.

Geez, when was the last time Mark Hamill was in a movie that didn't go straight to video, or where he's not just listed as "the voice of.."

I see from the "Unofficial Corvette Summer" website, that the plaid shirt in this picture is the same plaid shirt in the picture on their website.

So....Corvette Summer?

Incidentally...a friend once told me that the reason Mark Hamill looks like a completely different person between Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back was because he was in a horrible car accident between the movies and it disfigured his face. She also told me that Paul from the Wonder Years grew up to be Marylin Manson...so you be the judge.

Those would be Lesley Ann Warren and Kurt Russell, respectively. I was sure I'd seen this one, based on the first pic, but I was wrong.

correct! Now identify the young lady in the background, this was her screen debut at 21, and guess who the 16-year-old male was whom she met on the set.

Walter Brennan and Buddy Ebsen...
Banjo on My Knee looks a little too old, so, how about
The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band

And there's John Davidson, so that must be it.

I've enjoyed watching people squirm, but I suppose you'll never get it without more hints to search on. Some of you "age-enhanced" players will probably recognize enough faces here to do a search -- but can you identify them all? (p.s., the movie was in color, this must have been a publicity still in black and white for print -- and i've blurred out the key word in the banner)

Well, it's also another clue... The name of this movie isn't a state-name (although it míght contain one). Confused

I'll come back with the second photo shortly, as promised. In the meantime, I'll reiterate that this was based on a book with a state in the title, but the action in the movie was moved to a territory -- which was not yet a state. This territory's status is a major plot point in the movie! (and neither the state nor the territory is a part of the title at all)
