You've disappointed the shark, he thought it would have been tougher.

He said he would not have recognized that second still, but definitely from the third, fourth & fifth options.
Here is his contribution (he has been dying to use this movie and spent an hour finding these clips and loading them on my thumb drive).

konashark is right. That was awfully fast. (See, Citizen Kane!)
Hehe, well, we'll just have to keep trying and find something obscure, then, eh?

Just Johnny.

Sorry about that, I know the feeling. If it's any consolation, I would recognized any of those other stills too ... I just caught this movie on cable a few weeks back.

And on another note, at least Johnny didn't say "Whoa" all the damn time.
Indeed, and yet it's interesting to think about the idea that if Keanu hadn't first played Johnny, he might never have later had a chance to play Neo.

Yeah, it was pretty poor. And it's a shame because William Gibson's stuff is great, it just seems like none of it ever got to the big screen in a way that did it any justice. Someone needs to do one of his novels (not short stories ... why they chose Johnny Mnemonic is beyond me) as a film, and do it right.
EDIT: Oh, they are making Pattern Recognition, and Peter Weir is directing. Yay!
Anyhow, on with the show:
