If the date of August 11th has anything to do with anything, the Perseid Meteor shower is supposed to come around on the eleventh/twelfth. It might be nothing, but it's better than a product launch. The main comet of the shower runs through earth's orbit once, but it's not really that close to earth.

Maybe it's something to look into, at least.

Trout or not, that's kinda weird.
Is that *this year*?
This site suggests that it also happened 8 years ago on the same date:

Don't have time to look at it, ATM, but those look like they could be converted into ASCII, since 32 is a space and 65 = "A".
I'll check it later if nobody gets to it, first.

We already know this, but it says:

Code:
78/65/83  NAS
32/65/84   AT
82/79/87  ROW
32/83/75   SK
32/83/65   SA
67/32/65  C A
69/68/79  EDO
69/82/66  ERB
69/75/65  EKA
70/32/82  F R

There's too many "not quite" references. beww is a slight stretch of the imagination away from webb, just as Aulus is a long way from Ailis.

Ailis (rather than Aulus, but interesting similarity...) has definitely popped up before here: see previous posts, plus we have Eric posting to Morgan Webb's myspace page (see here).

Plus I can't think how else "beww" would fit in Wink

Good spot, JRWR. You'd have to check more carefully, but those colours might be the text we found in the image earlier - see this old post. Haven't checked if the colours appeared in the old image though.

Also, could the "beww" on highfivegame.com be a reference to "webb" (kind of spelt backwards, but not quite). We've seen references to Morgan Webb before (such as Ailis, her middle name).

Is it just me, or have none of the numbers we've come across so far contained the number 9? 42-1-18-76, the numbers embedded in the code, the numbers in the Javascript... all are between 0 and 8? From previous experience with codes, I find this odd to say the least.

In fact, 0 can also be used just for padding, as in the javascript. That would give us a "character set" of 1-8, or some kind of octal encoding system. I;m sure there are plenty more of these around than 0-8, or base 9 systems.

So.. what fits such a code? One thing that springs immediately to mind is musical notes (7 notes, A-G, not including sharps). 118 = AAG? Maybe we're looking at a tune here?
