I just sent him a very generic email saying who I was and if he could tell me anything that could help me find out better what's happening to Jeff. It's better to be safe than sorry, and if you think Steve might be on the opposing side, then don't include that much info. And I'm sure Jeff has already told Steve all of the stuff you mentioned anyway.

I do not know how much Jeff has told you about what we have found out, but that name that you heard on the message you cleared up, Duane Arnold, is the name of a power plant that you guys live near. Did you and Jeff work there? Or close to that plant? We think it may be part of the reason why Jeff is sick. Therefore we believe that he should take the pill as soon as possible. Also Jeff said he was going to post a few things that may help us figure out more things about what is going on with him. If you could remind him about all that especially since he is having a problem remembering things lately. That would be great!

Only problem I thought of was we do not know much about Steve, just that we assume he is a friend of Jeff. What if by telling him all this we are helping out the other side? Wouldn't it be really easy to tell a person who can not remember things well that they work together often when they really have never met?

So with that thought in my head I have not sent the email yet. I don't know maybe I am too paranoid for his own good. What do you guys think? Should I send it or not? Or should I take some information out just in case?

Well hopefully that medicine might help to jog his memory a bit. Though I still am unsure about whether or not it will be beneficial in the long run Looks like we just have to wait.

Also, Misroi, my bad ! Yeah, it is IL, but I doubt that the map would be reversed only because it fits Iowa so well this way.

Yeah, that would be just 10,000 different kinds of bad. It doesn't help that Jeff has no recollection of what goes on at his job either. He's the only one that could shed some more light on this mysterious project for the DoD.

We better hope that does not turn out to be true! If they are getting uranium illegally from the plant, the plant's owners might try to kill him when he goes down there. They know how illegal it is and want to cover their own asses, so they might take him out, I have not heard from him in a few days either.

Oh yeah, 26 miles is plenty far from the plant itself to be safe from any type of radiation in that aspect, especially with the safety precautions that nuclear reactors take to keep the radiation in check. However, if the plant were improperly disposing of its waste, like putting it in the woods for lack of room in the cooling chambers that radioactive waste is supposed to be in, Jeff would be in a good bit of danger. So would all of the people in that area.

It's not just him; Steve kinda said the same thing. From the Package video:

Something weird affecting their memories? Steve gets $800 from a guy who wants him to give a strange package to a friend, and he can't recall ANYTHING about the guy? He's either in on it, or there is no other guy, or Steve's being affected by it too.

The overhanging part of the Iowa map would not be in MO, it'd be in IL, apparently around the Peoria area. One other thing I thought of is that it might not say 'NO', but 'ON.' Perhaps we've got it oriented the wrong way?

Also, Amana is a 26 mile journey to the power plant, so while I won't discount radiation sickness or something like that, that seems to be a fairly safe distance to someone who has no experience with nuclear physics.

So what now, do we wait? So far the letters that have been repeated are: A, T, and E. Maybe he's trying to spell something out for us?

Lol, this is starting to remind me a LOT of Myst, where you get a bunch of clues and have to figure out what the right thing to do at the end is: the red book or the blue book? To take the pill or not take the pill?

On http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duane_Arnold_Energy_Center, the geographic coordinates of the plant are listed. Using Googlemaps, I pinpointed the location and used printscreen. I tried overlapping it with the map Jeff got, but it was sort of a stretch to get the point to line up with anything.

Something else about the map: if it IS Iowa (which I now think it is), the "NO" on the bottom right would technically be in Missouri. Iowa doesn't jut out like that.

Someone needs to ask Jeff where those woods were. The woods in the original footage. I just realized that pinpointing that location could show us a little about the surrounding stuff (or possibly how close he was to the plant).
