Satire
Just a generic zip password cracker I found on Google, nothing too clever. I was surprised by how quickly it got it - within a second. I assumed it just didn't work, I kept clicking the crack button.
For my own sanity, I've attached the same picture with the face un-distorted. I don't know if it's useful, but at least I'm not looking at that creepy face anymore.

Nice solve, satire! How'd you crack that password? Well anyway, it seems like Jeff's special camera really is turning into quite the prize. Can you upload the pictures onto tinyurl or something? If Jeff's converted a normal camera into a photometer that could be really valuable. And the coverter he was talking about IS picking up wavelengths of light that isn't visible to the human eye.
does that say gary on that strip on the blue thing??? or does that even matter?
I have no idea what that blue thing is. It's got tubes, blue lights, and no visible wires, which leaves me clueless. It looks like it's connected to the computer somehow. It might be some kind of circuit thing. I'll try to see if anyone I know knows what that is..
EDIT: I still don't know what it is, but it definitely says GARY, and then the Roman Numeral II.
it looks like watercooling haha for a computer.

Zip File Open
Cracked, not solved.
Hey - I cracked open the zip file, the password is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
271
It's got a couple of images in it over two pages, and descriptions of the images. The images show a distorted looking colorized person sitting in what looks to be a restaurant, and an inverted (?) image of the same.
The description of the two first picture is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
JB, here you can see it. Small, maybe not so obvious from the video. I have reversed the distortion by parenting the video. You might think he knows, but its still not clear.
The description of the second picture is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
This same picture shows it. Shooting the DM photometer at the shot shows. He still might not know, I think he is starting to do it. Is he taunting us?
The author of the file is "Daniel L. Bullerman" if that helps any.
I found your cypher. You can't get away from me. You need me as I need you.

It appears to have some kind of liquid in it. In the video you can see it move. And I think the fan might be blowing on it.

I don't think so. You guys pretty much explained the entire video. Haha.
Plus I don't want to be haunted with the screams tonight like I was with the creepy voicemail last night.
EDIT: Hahahahaha I am loving the TI-83 in the background of that first picture.

transcript
here is what we are looking at
(screen starts out with the normal fuzzy look we have become accustomed to from Jeff's videos.) OK, (screen clears up) I'm back now. I had to get another piece. Here's our documentation tape 83 for (bleep)labs? I am in lab 19 right now. We are putting our final touches to the (bleep) camera. This is camera 1 of 2. I was only assigned to do one camera but I decided I better have two just in case. Um, my circuits are all set up. Pretty much just a test. I want to see what else I can see. This is the first camera. This is what I designed. (shows us camera two, the one he designed) It's a separate, a separate lens. I've taken a converter and put it to the lens. So we can see (bleep) hopefully. That's for camera number two. Camera number one (points back to the camera and circuit boards etc. on the table) is just a simple design. Our black box with intel, two caps, a transfer lead wire. Kinda like a neutral wire just in case. Set up going to the hard drive and back to the computer. So we can display (bleep) Here's the I/O card we designed and it's running straight through the tape deck into the I/O ports of the camera. I'm going to finish up this (blood curdling scream in the background) tape. Oh shit! (runs to check out scream) (we now hear a terrible screetching noise and the screen goes black)
Can't upload the file to Youtube. It exceeds the file size limit.

He does not say anything when the screaming starts
A converter lens is an attachment used on digital cameras to change the focal point and quality of the pictures. I assume the converter they are using is something much more advanced than a simple photography converter, which really just gives the photographer more versatility in shooting outdoors on a digital and stuff. As for the setup of camera 1, that "black box with intel" sparks my interest. Does he mean Intel, like the computer company, or intel as in "intelligence?" A "black box" in planes and stuff is virtually indestructable and stores important information and equipment for the plane in case of an emergency, so an indestructable box that's storing all of the info from the high-tech cameras that see something past a human's range of vision could be what that guy wants access to.
