wow... creepiest one yet..

second part of first video.... at the same workstation a LOT of distortion...

Spoiler for people who want to watch it for themselves before getting my take on it

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
i think it takes place right after the scream in the first video... looks like Jeff blacked out... he checks to see if everything is still there... coughs a LOT... then just as you think the video is gonna end... another eerie scream and Jeff's face transforms.... very evil looking...demon/dracula looking

does someone wanna email jeff and see his take on the video?? I lost his email addy

On the keyboard thing.
I should mention that I could easily picture somebody with a copy of the (I assume) 2 image files open, using their mouse to change the text color and with their left hand (resting on the left side of the keyboard) just randomly naming the files as they saved them.

But then, I'd expect that they'd do all the "0" image files together and all the "1" image files together. Which isn't borne out by the date/timestamps on the files.

If it helps, Here's a graphic of the same basic stuff everyone's been saying.

New theorys from tidusia

Here's my latest chat with tidusia:
Quote:

(07:51:16 PM) Doug52392: hi
(07:53:18 PM) TidusIA: hey did you say something
(07:53:24 PM) Doug52392: yes
(07:53:25 PM) Doug52392: hi
(07:53:33 PM) TidusIA: sorry i was having trouble with my internet
(07:53:40 PM) Doug52392: oh
(07:54:09 PM) Doug52392: Did you have any luck finding the slashanswer from bullerman.net?
(07:54:15 PM) TidusIA: no, but i have a couple ideas
(07:54:21 PM) TidusIA: havent had much time to mess around with them
(07:54:30 PM) TidusIA: i think it has to do with the alphabet
(07:54:33 PM) TidusIA: there are 26 images
(07:54:44 PM) TidusIA: just a thought
(07:54:45 PM) TidusIA: i guess
(07:54:55 PM) TidusIA: ddid you figure something out?
(07:55:00 PM) Doug52392: Not yet Sad
(07:55:26 PM) Doug52392: we're stumped as to what the slashanswer means.
(07:55:36 PM) TidusIA: hmmm
(07:56:13 PM) TidusIA: obviously has something to ddo with the site...maybe a password
(07:56:15 PM) TidusIA: ??
(07:57:02 PM) Doug52392: Possibly, but I did not see anything on the web site that needs a password.
(07:57:10 PM) TidusIA: yeah...
(07:57:14 PM) Doug52392: It could be a page or folder on the site though
(07:57:23 PM) TidusIA: oh!
(07:57:29 PM) TidusIA: i think i see where you are going
(07:57:38 PM) TidusIA: like /answer?
(07:57:47 PM) Doug52392: yes
(07:58:05 PM) TidusIA: i keep getting binary stuck in my head
(07:58:10 PM) TidusIA: with all the ones and zeros
(07:58:17 PM) TidusIA: i ddont think its that thoug
(07:58:18 PM) TidusIA: h
(07:58:51 PM) Doug52392: What do you think the password goes to?
(07:59:23 PM) TidusIA: probably somewhere that "they" ddont want us to see
(07:59:36 PM) TidusIA: I only have a few days left
(07:59:41 PM) TidusIA: before i need another pill
(07:59:59 PM) Doug52392: I see
(08:00:16 PM) TidusIA: what other ideas do you have about the answer
(08:00:48 PM) Doug52392: Well, the file names seem to be typed in a specific side of the keyboard
(08:00:54 PM) TidusIA: true
(08:01:18 PM) TidusIA: i have steve looking at it too
(08:01:22 PM) Doug52392: I was thinking maby it had something to do with a nonstandard keyboard layout, like Dvorak.
(08:01:34 PM) TidusIA: he agrees that it reminds him of the alphabet...mainly because of the 26
(08:02:08 PM) Doug52392: wait!
(08:02:10 PM) Doug52392: 26
(08:02:14 PM) TidusIA: ?
(08:02:15 PM) Doug52392: I think I got an idea
(08:02:21 PM) TidusIA: what is it??
(08:05:42 PM) Doug52392: I did a port scan of the web site, (using a Linux program called nmap, it basically checks a website for open ports, eg. port 80 for web sites, port 25 for SMTP, etc). Well, it came up with port 26 as open. As far as I know, the only thing anyone would use port 26 for is an alternative to SMTP port 25, but there was already an SMTP server running there. And when I connected to bullerman.net on port 26, it identified itself as a e-mail server, but suddenly changed to an FTP server (which is imposable, the SMTP software was not written to do that).
(08:06:27 PM) Doug52392: Do you think maby that strange open port has something to do with it?
(08:06:37 PM) TidusIA: i have no clue
(08:06:39 PM) TidusIA: Sad
(08:07:05 PM) Doug52392: There are so many possibilities! Sad
(08:07:10 PM) TidusIA: i know!
(08:07:16 PM) TidusIA: it bothers me
(08:11:28 PM) Doug52392: How do you think the alphabet comes into play here?>
(08:11:39 PM) TidusIA: thats just the first thing i thought of
(08:11:49 PM) TidusIA: i thought it would be some sort of binary representation
(08:11:50 PM) TidusIA: but i dont know
(08:12:47 PM) TidusIA: like laying out the 1s and 0s to go with an alphabet....thats all i had thought of...
(08:12:59 PM) TidusIA: i keep getting stuck on binary
(08:13:02 PM) TidusIA: and want to convert it
(08:13:05 PM) TidusIA: but thats not it
(08:15:09 PM) TidusIA: i have to get going. im a little sore from moving

He repeditly mentioned the alphabet and the fact that there were 26 images. He then told me he thought maby we need to line out the binary as an alphabet. He is pretty sure it will lead us to a password or another page. Mayby we need to map out everything and make an alphabet? Also note the accidental (or not accidental?) extra D's on ddid, ddo, doo, and ddon't.

yes ATEC are the letters jeff has been double using... we're just not sure what they mean...yet

also.. does anyone know if it is necessary to put background rgb (255,255,255) in source code to make the background white? or is it default white.. (from bullerman.net source code)

Alright so I've read up on everything... And from what I got so far Jeff is well sick; something to do with a marsh, power plant, Jeff and his pill and this one guy Steve (Who we're not sure is friend or foe); and Bullerman.

Now someone mentioned A.T.E.C - I'm not sure WHERE You guys found that; and whether or not I'm having an epiphany but aren't those the letters Jeff has been double-using?

As far as anything else goes it's 1am here and so I'm pressed for time but will check back tomorrow.

Theory

I think I have a theory about the wierd letters. There are differnet variations of the standered keyboard, more specificly the Dvorak keyboard. Just thinking out loud here, but maby he typed the file names using a different style keyboard, like Dvorak, but still typed as if he was using the standered keyboard? Also, tidusia is online now, but he is not responding, and he removed his buddy information. Strange. I'm talking to him now, he has some theories as well. I'll post the chat when I'm done.

I noticed that too, but I didn't know how to explain it, so I didn't even try.

as for the A T E C letters I found this and feel like it might have something to do with what they were working on since Jeff mentioned DoD, etc.. How? I don't know. Maybe one of you will better understand the connection. Army Test and Evaluation Command

Maybe there is some connection with that and the JASON Defense Advisory Group

ririri123 I like your spec, Welcome aboard.

Leyton Stone, the first blog and videos are gone except for the one on google. But, I don't think you will need them to start playing. Welcome aboard. Yes, it's worth playing. I think it has great potential. Maybe we can get Jeff to repost the videos for us on his new blog http://crfindings.blogspot.com/
The other website we have right now is http://www.bullerman.net

I'd like to translate that into a connection with the word "answer". But the "n" in "answer" keeps stalling me.

I feel like we're supposed to "build-out" a 2nd half component for the names or something.
