Ok, I'm probably way off base here, but the second pic looks like the marsh is on fire to me. I remembered "bring built on secrets". So I went and googled fires in the cedar rapids area.
Here are a couple of links to what (for the reports) was a HUGE explosion at a place called Douglas Starch Works. Was in 1919. 43 people died.
these are legitimate RGB color values... don't know how they correlate to our problem of passwords though...

ok the wiki timeline (work in progress) is up... Remember this is my first time doing anything like this so any suggestions / help is very welcome and asked for... I've got it where you have to have permission to enter so only those I know who have been working on this with me will be allowed. (I'm not entirely sure how to do this either. so I might need help) the site is:
EDIT: send me your email and I can add you to the invite list as I don't want to open it up to everyone i.e. Steve, sni, and bullerman
EDIT' I don't mind if someone wants to take this site over and run with it as I am a novice. I don't mind at all. Just want a place where we can organize thoughts and find stuff easier.

Welcome to ARGville. too many windows open is the story of our lives.
Ok. I've gone over that video again. Tried so hard to find something in that last spring scene and around the pumpkin. I saw faces everywhere but that's to be expected.
I'm pretty sure the voice is saying E Pi E Pi E O it sure sounds like an E before the O to me anyways.
The sounds, first there is the thing scurrying along at a fast pace in front of them making a sound like those little aliens on si-fi movies that have just gotten loose. you know what i mean? Then there is this growling sound and then something awful screams at the end of the macdonald song. Then there is something that sounds like BigFoot or Yeti moaning. Don't know what these would have to do with anything, though. Then at the end that crazy breathing sound. And I think I hear morse code in there around the area where they are examine the pumpkin. Not positive of that though, cause I can't read morse.
Personally, I believe this is more alien than demonic. just my 2 cents.

To try and answer like, part of one of your questions, tokkii, Jeff is a computer engineer, so from an engineering standpoint, he wouldn't be so much involved with the optics equipment on the camera as much as the software and hardwiring that goes along with it. A secret government camera is useless without some secret government software to use with it! The camera specs are posted a while back... I tried to guess at what its function would be based on how Jeff described it. I'm going into engineering so I understand a good deal of the technical aspects, but not a lot of the demon-paranormal stuff that seems to be stemming off of this.
Also, has anyone gotten anywhere with the whole /mail username and pw? I think thats the next step (intercepting sni and JB's mail to eachother) to help Jeff and/or find Steve.

Mentioning unfiction and members is fine but remember to make it privately viewed so the PM can't see, also we can do discussion there.

Wiki Timeline
Still working... I am writing the timeline just fine but have no idea of the finer points of wetpaint wikis,, any help is very much welcomed.. i need a handholder... BTW I am only on 12-5 of the timeline... trying to hurry..
Quick question: Should I mention UF on the timeline? is that appropriate. should I mention specific UF members? such as giving credit for finding certain things/deciphering whatnot?

I'm working on a timeline as we speak... I'm SOOO slow when it comes to computer stuff... If someone can do it faster let me know.. I'll give you what i have so far (mostly pencil/paper) hopefully have it posted somewhere by tomorrow... anybody got an idea WHERE? i should post it... should i just post in this thread?
Sounds good, I will anxiously await any news. It seems hard to jump into an ongoing ARG and get a good and fleshed out update. It also seems hard to find one right at its beginning. =(
