Ok, I have to go in a few minutes, so I'll be on tomorrow (probably around 10:00). If you want to watch the videos now, you can download the VLC media player from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/. You install it, then open one of the Flash files from it.

I'm learning as I go. Don't really know much at all. I guess you'll know tomorrow if I figured it out or not lol. I can make you the administrator and you can post all that stuff.

PM me your email and I will add you as a registered user.
Do you know if your wiki page supports adding files to it? If it doesn't, you could upload the files to YouTube or smiler video-sharing service (if you have an account).

[Getting back on topic slowly]
Yes, I got them. I can't watch them cuz media player won't play them as you said. I want to put them on the wiki, but as a more user-friendly file, Any suggestions. and also, can I just link to the files on my harddrive ... I don't know if that will work or not. I don't have a server (I don't even know what a server is).

Man, I'm dumbfounded. You know programming languages and you're 15. When I was fifteen, I knew how to color, I think. Man that was a while ago.
I've been using computers since I was 6 (my first one was a Dell XPS 333, I still have it to) Then I found an old IBM PS/2 from 1992 with Windows 3.11 at my grandmothers house, and played with Qbasic (BASIC programming language). That's how I learned basic programming, then gragually went to Visual basic, C++, and finally PHP when I decided to make a website. Wow we're really off topic here I have to go to bed in about a half-hour, did you get all the videos?

Not exactly, I'm still in the process of finding a computer to use as a full time server (I plan on getting one soon, nothing special, just an older computer with a decent power supply that can be left on all the time), so the server I currently have is not on all the time (I'll have to turn it off in about an hour), so you should download the videos now.

Videos
I put the videos on my web site, you can download them from http://dougsdomain.dyndns.org/pub. They are in Flash FLV format (if you use Windows, you need a Flash media player or VLC media player to view, Windows Media Player does not support it).

I know, it sucks. I really wish we hadn't lost those first few videos. It would be nice to be able to look back on them. Maybe we could contact Jeff and ask him to repost them on his blog? I'm sure he still has them. That way all of the newer people can see what they've missed.
I have the original videos of Steve giving Jeff his pill, and 2 of the videos where he shows us what he sees! Anyone want them? I downloaded them with DownloadHelper (a Firefox plugin). I was just going through the dwhelper folder, and found them.
