I think we trusted the wrong guy. I hope that the package has answers, because I'm starting to think that we're not going to get a response from either of them.

Also, in the fourth part of the YouTube video, look at 1:00 - 1:01. Anyone else think this looks like distorted text? It's difficult to see when it's just playing, but if you sort of stop-and-go it looks like words. Kind of hard with the YouTube video, but if anyone has the downloaded version and could maybe look at the frames / post them here?

It sounds like Jeff was being attacked but then we clearly hear someone getting in the car at the end of the video. There is no way to tell what really happened. It's possible that Dan was putting Jeff in the car and has abducted him. But I wouldn't have a clue how to help him unless Dan contacts us.

I guess that package is our only hope at this point.

And maybe, we are in denial, that the game is over. Just someone go get that package. Then if it's over we can set up a PM chat.

Thanks Sylvia! The youtube videos work great. So what exactly happened..?I know that was Steve that like, warped or whatever, so do we assume the same thing happened to Jeff? I think we really need to find someone to get that box. It seems like Cedar Rapids is cursed, what with all the car breakdowns and dead people teleporting. Haha. Might I add that I've never seen so much snow somewhere that isn't a mountain. I'm from CA, sorry.
So I think I may text either (or both) Dan and Jeff. To Jeff I'll probably ask something like "where are you and are you okay," but the issue of Dan is more complicated. Should I even bother trying to get ahold of Jeff? Dan seems more likely to be able to respond, given the circumstances, but maybe not the right choice. Any ideas?

Thanks Strikethrough for trying. Hate that things didn't go well but glad the problem is minor.

Datango, the image is toward the end of the video. I screen capped it then used my image software to rotate it 90 degrees clock-wise.

Miki, I'm working as hard as I can to get the video up at youtube for you to view. I had to divide it up in to 4 parts. As soon as they are up and ready to be viewed I will post here.

MrToasty, it looks like your up. Let's hope you don't have any problems. If so, I'll start believing that warning giving to us to not watch those videos.

Well, my trip was unsuccessful. By this, I mean that roughly 10 miles into said trip, my car up and died. It got very cold, waiting for my unhappy friend to come pick me up.

So yes. I've nearly sacrificed my car for this. I'm told it'll be an easy fix- they've just got to change the... headlight fluid... or whatever, and then my ugly little zombie car will be as good as old. So I'm not too upset. But I'm gonna be freaking angry if this game implodes, now! Razz

So wait, where exactly is Jeff? I'm sure most of us are familiar with the state of my computer by this point, so can someone give a quick recap to the most recent video? Also, should I text Jeff or Dan? Im not clear about what I'd be texting them about though... Haha.

If this were a day earlier I would have gone, but I'm out of town until tomorrow night. If you can't make it tomorrow I'll see if my wife was planning on heading to CR or one of my co-workers.

Aaarrrhggg why are all the videos he posts so darn huge? I've been sitting here for twenty minutes and the thing isn't done. Thank you for uploading all the others though Sylvia.

From what I understand it seems as though Jeff *may* have been kidnapped. And though I haven't seen the thing yet, I'm sort of disturbed by the lack of a blog post about it. ALSO that the video we got came from Dan and not from Jeff.

Hopefully we'll learn he's ok soon.

I do not think he was kidnapped because at the end you can hear Jeff getting back in his car. Although Steve/Dan did do some odd teleporting thing that really freaked him out apparently. I am going to watch the video more closely and Ill post anything I find. It may take me awhile to get do it thought, because I have class in about an hour till late. Rolling Eyes
