Also I'm not sure about hawk jones. I edited one of my previous post to include one of his blog entries that I missed. Since I know we tend to miss edits I'll repost it here because of the odd mention of gate in it.

I did mention her in my email. I said she helped me to solve the puzzles. I think your right about him getting it from there. For the figure present thing, I believe it is because we have a picture with a person in it, instead of a random object.
