Alright, for those interested, I'm setting up a wiki template. The address is http://thegatereaction.wikidot.com It isn't set up yet, but will be at a place where you can add pages and whatnot.. Also there will be a forum section. I will also need someone to be an administrator that knows how to edit things like page design, drop-down menus, etc.etc. (cuz I'll not be online much). PM me.

I think that's a great idea. If everyone just pitches in a little bit, what we can anyway, then we can have it all caught up. Like anything else, it's all about teamwork, right?

Ditto. I'm completely lost. Although I can always go and bribe Lain with a piece of cake (which will not be a lie) and she'll catch me up. A Wiki would be most helpful though.

That's the outline of the state of Missouri. smack dab near Cape Girardeau, That's the town where my crew change office is located. Maybe St. Louis on second look. Either way it's near the Mississippi River.
Didn't know I pissed off Bowty THAT bad lol.
Can't believe I just typed "smack dab"

Ok, had some events - it took me awhile to figure out the password even though it was staring me in the face. Sylvia helped me. It seems that most passwords have been all lowercase.
When I responded about the research I needed to do about the explosives, I received an e-mail back:

which finally, after getting the password right (login: palm; password: lowexplosive), led to this:
Access granted.
Endrid: Well done.
:I will now begin to upload documents here.
:They should explain everything.

Basically if you start with a regular grid (cartesian coordinates) and wrap it around a center point so you get something that looks more like a radar display (polar coordinates0. That's what was done to the UL to get the logo. I just did the reverse process, unwrapping the polar back to cartesian.
ETA: I wouldn't take my word as gospel on the whole crab louse thing. It looks like one, but may not be one in the game, and there's nothing to support huge leaps in spec if I'm not mistaken. I don't want to ruin anything for the Disciples by throwing in a red herring.

/me has no idea what Toasty means by 'rectangular to polar' filter-- can someone explain that? Sorry

Do they carry viruses?
Everything I've read so far seems to say that crab lice rarely carry disease or viruses but other lice do.
Although I did find one article that said they'd found HIV in a crab louse, I can't remember now where I read that.
Has anyone else found something different?
Ok, my bad, I just realized that Toasty's picture wasn't the same as the lazurus union one...but I still think he's right.

That's where I got my pic from, not sure if his is from there too.
So, if it is a crab louse, the most commonly alluded to method of transmission (not necessarily most common in practice) is through sexual contact. Punishing the naughty?
Oh, the logo from the Telather Creed page bothered me, so I had to check out my suspicions in Photoshop. Sure enough I was right - somebody is playing around with the rectangular to polar filter. See the attached for the reversed process.

Aha! It IS a crab louse!
Mr. Toasty, you are so right.
I'm guessing that this is the website that the crab louse image was taken from:
Well, I finally managed to escape my house and take some photos. It took me forever to decide which photo to send in, but I finally picked this one because I feel much closer to it-- it's a branch of a young cypress tree that I take care of at this one pond I live near.
Unless you guys think I should send the second one xD I don't really know.

How about a war zone? something of the likes of unit 731. In fact they were developing biological weapons that would be spread with the use of fleas.

Sorry all - but there's really nothing too exciting directly near me.
