Actually there are MANY people in the Lazarus Union, but there are only 2 that reside in "our" world.

I just got an email from DF (BernardGSPLATwhyruralgod.com with an empty email. It might be spam but the site, whyruralgod.com, is forbidden, maybe a later use for meetings, but caution it might just be a spam email.

Just got caught up..
Hey guys.

I've just spent the last couple hours getting caught up on this little ARG here and it feels good to be in-the-know for a moment or two.

I sent in my initial loyalty picture about an hour and a half ago - hopefully I'm not too late and I'll get accepted in as a disciple.

So this is kind of what I've been trying to work out in my head. Questions we should ask ourselves for clarity are in bold. Let me know if I made any mistakes.

There's an alternate reality, like a split in time, following the conception of a mutating virus in the United States. Called the "Sentient Virus" (there have also been mentions of the "Mercy Virus"), it has the ability to mutate and destroy life forms via head lice.

The conciever of the virus is Bowty.
His wife is Julie.
His daughter is Isabella.

Can we assume that Julie and Isabella died following the conception of the virus?

Bowty has, through one way or another, come into our reality for unknown reasons (or do we know?) with the virus. He threatens to unleash the virus upon our us and our reality.

Can his threats be a cry for attention due to his guilt for killing off his daughter and wife, assuming that the virus he created killed them?

The Lazarus Union (LU) is a group of people of which two people have come over from the alternate reality in order to keep Bowty from unleashing the virus.


Any thoughts? Corrections?

What you sent was fine. He acknowledged it. If he hadn't you would not have been allowed to ask a question.

As for teaming up, we are all ready a team, everyone of us playing this game. If any of you got something you want to talk to Bowty, Endrid, Telather, Stu, Jacob, Lucid or any other character just pop them an email and share the results here on the forums. No more secret shit or hiding stuff from other players. I don't go for that and Dr. Beckett will quickly disappear.

There are several paths this could take and we don't know yet who we are going to support in the end. But it will be interesting to see.

I really want to know more about the incident that happened from Bowty's prospective and from LU's prospective. Like how did it happen and why.

It seems to me that the virus was not released on purpose but something happened that caused it. From the way I see it, the Tybee bomb must have exploded in LU's world and that must have somehow caused this virus to be released. Bowty said his wife was killed in the incident and he lost his daughter to the virus. I don't think that he would have done something to kill them like that on purpose. So, it's sort of confusing at this point to tell what Bowty is really up to and what LU is really up to.

Remember that unless you are using a proxy that is nowhere near your location, merely sending an email can give an approximation to your location via the IP address sent from:
http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm

Even using something like gmail, your IP is generally recorded and sent as part of the header.

Well, it was supposed to be something near where you live, a landmark or some other type of photo (didn't have to be a landmark); and tell him what the photo was in case he didn't recognize it. This in most cases would tell him of our location. But yours was very vague, so I don't know.

I think I am going to make a list who is from US and who is from Lazaretto - yours will be unknown.

EDITED: Ok, here is the current list of where each of us are on the map in case it is something we should be paying attention to:

Palm: United States (Analysis: Undetermined - Residue Possibility High)
Miss Wish: United States (Analysis: Undetermined)
Sylvia: Lazaretto (alias Dr. Melianne Beckett)
NextDay: Lazaretto (Analysis: 1%)
elite.fencer: United States (Analysis: Queued)
Silent Monk: United States (Analysis: Queued)
Natas - Unknown location (Analysis: A fool)

Those are the only photos sent in so far; except some people may have kept them private. If it becomes important, maybe they can divulge whether United States or Lazaretto - or maybe they want to keep it secret so we don't know who we are talking to; a US Citizen or a Lazaretto Citizen.

EDITED: Ok, the only 2 from Lazaretto are the only 2 who have transformed/in the process of transforming into another person. My Analysis, Residue Possible High, might be referring to the fact that Chicago is very close to the Lazaretto line and the virus residue may have spilled over. The only other person we know of that has transformed is Jacob (alias OMGzus). He is Isabella Bottan. He has not sent in his photo yet, but is supposed to be at tonights meeting. His myspace page says Las Vegas which is far from the border of Lazaretto (unless he moved because he just got a new job). So if his location is really Las Vegas, then we can ignore all of this and it doesn't mean a thing.

Me too. Elite, you may want to check the map and see where their locations are first. Bowty might or might not trust all of you the same. I am thinking there is a connection to the 2nd photo we sent in - our locations are divulged to him. Those that are in the quaranteened zone are from another country - Lazaretto. You are still in the US being from MI. I am still in the US; but it appears Sylvia is from Lazaretto. I am thinking that is why she is the Doctor now, and we haven't been transformed into another person or analyized yet because the virus hasn't gotten us.

Edited: changed text to say "2nd photo"; not "1st photo". I am talking about the location or landmark photo.
