The deadline has come which brings upon task 1's completion.
If you have no completed the first task, your title has not changed.
If you have completed the first task, you are now an acolyte. This means that you can participate in the forums at future meetings, which will be in an IRC channel that has yet to be revealed.
If you have completed the first task, but you haven't asked a question and received an answer yet, you are still an acolyte, but you will have to wait until the next meeting day to ask your question and receive an answer. On a side note, these questions will still be asked and answered in e-mail form on dates that will not be on meeting days.
There is the possibility of there being a task in the future that can still make up the credit for those who didn't finish task 1, especially for those who come in later. As for what that task is, it will not be revealed yet, but the task itself could prove dangerous.

The answer

I'm about to go to bed. I attended this meeting earlier, but only in time to send in my answer, then I was off to go do other things. I've only just read the answer right now. This is what he sent back:

Anyway, it's time to sleep. I've had a long day.

and a trout isn't offensive.. it means that you recognize what I am saying but it was previously discussed...
edit: I understand and respect the trout! maybe everyone else doesn't take it as a positive??

Well, do take it easy the next couple of days.. that's the thing about sudden trauma like that, the physical signs of injury might not be present for 2-3 days, and working too hard on yourself can only make it worse.

wow, I didn't mean it like that. All that stuff was discussed a few pages back. I was trying not to trout you cause most people find that more offensive than just calling their attention to it. but what ever. Sorry about your car wreck but you could have found a better way to have brought it up than going off.

EDIT: It's interesting that Jacob did in fact get his question in, I guess that concludes any question over whether he's a character or not. I would imagine that, if he was OOG, he would have at least posted here to let us know he was around.
I wonder what his answer was, though..
