Can someone post here what all happened? I am not sure I would have been able to work the irc anyway, as I have never used one before.

Yeah, mistakes were made, they were apologized for, and the appropriate parties took action to minimize the damage.
I think it would be in everyone's best interests to at least pretend we like each other..
