It's probably sad my best discovery was that the music can be turned off ^^ but yea, there is something up with the scraping noise, it doesn't fit at all.
To add something relevant, i found these when googling holomove
The new head of Holomove, George Poulopatis was hired away from freyjacapital.

Hrm, the music on the site strikes me as odd. That high pitched almost...scraping sound, is completely out of place. I don't have the equipment or tools to analyze it, anyone wanna look into it?

There's a short video interview with him on Google video:
On Nate's blog, he posted a crossword puzzle left by Dr. Gough. If you only look at the wrong answers in the puzzle, it says:

GOT IT! I was right...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you use the font size as an index in to the string after it, then pick that specific letter. In cases where the number is higher than the length of the string, it spills over to the next string.
...and the answer is...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"the future is within reach"
Email sent. Let's see how it goes!

Agent Lex
Purely for reference, a copy of the original is here. Only difference seems to be "combat" in the new version, rather than "stop" (right at the end)

I'm working on a solution, but I'm missing something. I have about 2/3rd of a message.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'm using the font size as an index in to the string after it, then taking one character at a time. But it seems I'm missing characters here and there.
I'm still at it.

Other than the HTML entities instead of using the regular apostrophe, there's the fact that there are seemingly random font tags on spaces.
12 18 10 24 16 12 8 36 8 4 9 18 7 35 18 8 4 2 7 6 8 are the font size numbers. Taking 1 = A, 2 = B, etc. it gives:
L R J X P L H J H D I R G I R H D B G F H
I know there are numbers over 26, so I took the method of 36-26 = 10, so 36 = 10

What I'm most curious about now: Why go through the trouble (and expense!) of sending out UPS Next Day Air letters to ARG players with blacked out letters when they also send out a complete version to a major media outlet at the same time?

I'm confused... Is Holomove for real? On their site they say they're launching a $10M national ad campaign for "Anarchy"; I do find it particuarly odd that any marketing company would be so public about the COST of the campaign they're running. So is this an ARG-created company... advertising an ARG. "Game within a game" sorta thing?
