I didn't see anything in the source, but someone else can take a look, just in case I missed something.

Think this is in reference to enaxor's email to him about writing in the source code? I don't have the time to go in depth into looking through it right now, but I'm going to check over ait while I can.

[Update] Nate's Blog May 13
I'm stressing out here

Quote:
I'm stressing out here
Things are so hectic here. We aren't working fast enough, there are not enough results. Everyone is stressed out and it's starting to take its toll on me. There's the work. There are questions about my relationship with Eliza, whether that's a good idea. And there are these puzzles that were once fun, but now getting stranger. And probably rightly so, there is the though that I should be careful about what I say on the this blog.

I'm just one huge ball of stress and I don't know where to turn. I'm going to implode or explode, but there's gonna be some 'ploding for sure. Something has got to give.

The Freyja Capital website looks pretty slick. There is an odd link to a Privacy Policy page. And the privacy policy just doesn't look right for a US venture investment firm.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It actually seems to be the Privacy Policy from the BBC at http://www.bbc.co.uk/privacy/

I haven't completely analyzed this yet, there may be a clue hidden in there somewhere.

I read through that a few days ago, and noticed in several places it says UK not US. So it very well could be a kloo, that Freyja is not on the up and up. And that Erik Andersen borrowed the privacy policy to make his website look authentic. He just didn't cover his tracks very well.

It also refers to several places in the UK (Luton and the Imperial War Museum), makes a reference to a British law (Data Protection Act), and makes reference to the consequences breaching the laws of England or Wales

Alright, I made the transcript of the office chair race on 5/12/08, for what it's worth.

Quote:
Nate: Alright, Here we go! Woooo! Come on baby, roll, roll, roll!

Jay (in background): C'mon, c'mon, c'mon!

Nate: C'mon Toni [Tawny?] , gogogogogogo! Catch up to him!

Jay: Here we go!

Nate: Go Toni go! Go! Go Toni go!

Jay: What d'ya got? What d'ya got? Come on, come on! You're losing! Gotta turn the corner!

Nate: [Drowned out by Jay] We gotta take the corner right here! We're gonna be in the corner! Go fast, watch out for
the wall! Watch out for the wall! Watch out for the wall! Oh g- Ha! Come here! We got a crazy driver here. We got a
drunk driver here on the office chair!

Jay (in background): Woooo!

Nate: We're rolling! Come on Jay, I'm gonna catch up to you!

Jay (In background): Yeah! We won!

Nate: Get 'em! Just get 'em! (Toni laughs) Woooo! Alright! Alright! Good game. Good game buddy.

Jay: Nice try.

Nate: Right on. Right on. Good game. (Laughter all around)

Toni: (Unintelligible - Shame on me?)

Nate: Okay. I-I want a rematch.

Jay: Winner!

Nate: Alright, rematch next Tuesday.

Recap: I told Nate that his employers were watching his blog and if need be he could hide messages in the source code. I also mentioned his typos, and asked if there was anything to them. Apparently, they're just typos.

enaxor wrote:
Hey etan,

I know you haven't even answered my last email, but I wanted to share something with you. This may sound totally paranoid of me, but after finding that flickr account yesterday, I think you may need this.

There are quite a few people who follow your blog, including myself, and apparently your employers. So you obviously have to be careful what you post, but there is a way to hide "something important" in plain sight.
Dr. Gough understood this concept, as evidenced by the crossword puzzle, sitting in the middle of his desk. If and when the time comes, and you can't use email, hide your messages in the source code of your blog.

I used this little trick earlier this year, when I took a trip out of the country, and wanted to make a little game for my friends. So without telling them my destination, I started a blog and posted pictures while on my trip, At the same time, I hid little hints in the source code. Take a look... http://whereintheworldisenaxor.blogspot.com/

Okay, so I don't only sound paranoid, but I've learned to listen to my little "gift of fear" voice. In fact, I noticed quite a few typos in your last couple of blog posts. Anything to 'em?

Sorry, I do try to respond when I can.

I wish I were that clever, but my typos are were just typos. PEBKAC. Ugg now I'm going to super proofread what I write. Getting less free time at work and stress makes my fingers lazy. But I do see your point though. If you can find my blog, then anyone else can. I never thought it would be interesting enough to need to hide anything.

A gift of fear. Why thanks. Were they out of gift certificates?
