Ok, good finding out that Dan Bullerman is cstrife 311.
About the nick, cstrife 311, it has been a nick on AIM from 1995! (impressing).
cstrife has something to do with final fantasy..im not sure thats relevant.
311:its a prime
Binary 100110111
Hexadecimal 137
311 is also twin prime with 313;
There is also a call code like 9-1-1 using 3-1-1 "A promotional website for 3-1-1 in Los Angeles described the distinction as follows: "Burning building? Call 9-1-1. Burning Question? Call 3-1-1."
311 is also an american music band. I also looked at some related dates to this number but couldnt se any relevant information (my opinion)
I would guess to look closer at the numerical value might be of importance..

I assume we have the information somewhere and that the word PLAY would have some significance in this. I will try some combinations and see what happend.

I cant really ignore the chat that was found on bullerman.net. It seems that some words are highlighted and that if you read everery second line it some times make a sentence by its own. For example:

Me too, no one send anything until tomorrow at least. I'd say lets give it 24 hour for clues, in case there is more to know. For example, we don't know if we need to send video or pics, or if it's to danSPLATbullerman.net or ftp file transfer. The PMs are watching now, VERY GOOD WORK PMs! I'll be in contact.
I'd be tempted to make a jigsaw puzzle of my face and make Dan work for it for a change.
Some means of disfiguring or obsfucating our faces would seem appropriate. Almost 3am here though, so such creative endeavors will have to wait until morning for me...

If the PM is actually watching, I'm impressed, this is going so well.
You mean send him a picture with mud on our face or obstruct it? It seems there may be a clue to follow soon about how to connect to the ftp to transfer files. also, I want to note I saw something about port 80 in the unix markup, tho I am on a mac, so it may have looked different.

ftp doesn't work now either (Hi PM!).
Given the video and the pic on the play page, I'd guess we should all try to send a picture (or vid) of ourselves and stylize in some way to get his attention. He does want to see who he's playing with after all.

It doesn't matter, it was a one time thing. It's locked for me too. But there was nothing else, I searched the sources of all I could, but when I went back it was locked. We got the message. play.htm works. I think I'm supposed to take a picture and send it to him. Not a video. Tho I can make a video if needed. What do you suggest?

Ah, nice one again. Guess I shouldn't have had that last beer tonight
The hidden message in the small phrase. The part... Fun Time Please... it means FTP. It's a file transfer protocol.

Hmmm... I get a user authentication screen when I go to that directory and can't get in.

I KNEW IT! I found it as I wrote that. I'll post it for all. Do I send a video? To DanSPLATbullerman.net or UserSPLATbullerman.net? By the way the user thing toasty wrote is in super small writing, but it is under the picture.
it contains a folder called screentest.
Screentest contains /.ftpquota
and fun.txt which says...

isnt this fun?
The video you have now seen is in fact your "friend" Jeff. This was the true first test of the camera. It didn't quite work right. Things would have been better..
but Jeff chose to leave us and criple our project.
