Perimeter is usually notated by just one number (i.e. 60' perimeter) since it's merely the sum of all sides, but... maybe...
88 x 220 feet (60 x 150 cubits) is a very skinny building. About half the width and two-thirds the length of a football field. Not very large for something like an institute, but then again, we have no way of knowing. Could be comparable to that of a small apartment building, though... maybe it's a specific room/hall of the Brightman? I dunno. D:

I bet your right about that, PB. Maybe length X width? How big is a cubit again?
Did we actually ask Hatch for a map?

Definitely makes sense, Schwinn. Since we did hunt down Hatch in the hopes of obtaining a map of sorts.
But there's gotta be a fourth somewhere. ;/ And maybe that'll bring some sort of clarity to it all. We have absolutely no idea how the Brightman is even laid out, so those 'directions' could lead someone anywhere.

Maybe I am supposed to bribe the guards with my 10 yuan note. I dont think a $1.47 is going to get us far.

So we have the 3 now what? It almost seams like they are giving directions. Classical 60 cubits (in), Syn take the perimeter, Tempest in 150 Cubits...
Maybe directions on how to guide Port around Brightman, when we are trying to liberate the Oracle?
I really think you're on to something with this one. The only part that doesn't fit for me - is involving people that haven't been around much, AND, how exactly, once their turn comes up - what are they supposed to do with the measurements?

I cant find any relation with the emails and Watership Down, other than the name Rich Adams. As far as I can tell "cubits" are not used in WD. The numbers don't align to any pages. At least in my copy they don't.

So.. Now what. Are we the only two? There has to be more..
If someone would be so kind, I could really use a compilation of which sites are still being updated in game and which are defunct, with links.

well, if we're supposed to "BEGIN IN THIS ORDER", as our little hint says, then we need to find our first and fourth. They have to be members of the forum (well, I assume so. they wouldn't use forum PMs if they couldn't contact all 4 of us in the same way), and i would assume they would be people involved with the game. munki schwinn, and paperbound have already confirmed they have no emails, E.Y.E. Spy has posted here with nothing about an email, so that doesn't leave a lot.. Wulf, syn, burrito?

Court,
No e-mail from anybody on either of my accounts, but it gave me a chance to read back over some old e-mails. Have I mentioned that I think that you're great? I'm still looking forward to this chat one of these days!
Port
oh lol whaaaaaat
Also, if sending that email gets him in trouble again, I will not be pleased. >_>

Betting the Maryland one was Schwinn's yuan.
... so what's the other one?
In the meantime, tempest and I have a theory that Port may be our "first".

clas1ca: So uh, random question: have you gotten any weird, spammy-looking emails from a Rich Adams anywhere?
klokworkalex: I haven't logged onto anything but Twitter since I last e-mailed you. Should I be expecting something? Is that who gave you Bean's photo?
clas1ca: I think so. Maybe. I'm acting on a hunch, honestly. If you could, I would really appreciate you checking your email account(s) out for me.
TO BE CONTINUED.

oraclewatch was updated - not sure when. I was sure I checked it for something yesterday. Page appears blank 'til you mouseover where the image is - a backwards printscreen of an email communication. Flipped horizontally it says:

Veep,
Two pods were jettisoned by our friends before the raid. One small envelope to Maryland and one manila envelope to Portland, Oregon of all places. No other details yet.

poking around with google, I stumbled across some uniting factors between me and classical's messages.
Quote:
The Christian missionaries have recently turned their attention to a hadīth which states that the height of Adam was 60 cubits (= 90 feet) tall and have charged this hadīth as a "scientific error". The hadīth in question is from Sahīh al-Bukhārī and is recorded as follows:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Allah created Adam, making him 60 cubits tall. When He created him, He said to him, "Go and greet that group of angels, and listen to their reply, for it will be your greeting (salutation) and the greeting (salutations of your offspring." So, Adam said (to the angels), As-Salamu Alaikum (i.e. Peace be upon you). The angels said, "As-salamu Alaika wa Rahmatu-l-lahi" (i.e. Peace and Allah's Mercy be upon you). Thus the angels added to Adam's salutation the expression, 'Wa Rahmatu-l-lahi,' Any person who will enter Paradise will resemble Adam (in appearance and figure). People have been decreasing in stature since Adam's creation.
The second part of that quote is directly out of the Quran.
and then I googled 150 cubits, and found out a man in the Netherlands has built a replica of Noah's Ark that measures 150 cubits long. It might all be stretching, but two bible references for us, maybe something there.
