Have fun Wulf! Take lots of pictures! And whatever you do, don't get kidnapped or killed or something. After all, if that were to happen, I don't think we could finish the game!

It's funny you say that. My buddies wife is a very paranoid young thing. I've told them both a little about this, and how involved it is. She has been worried for my safety over the past few days ever since I mentioned I was going to ARGfest. Saying things like I'm going to be kidnapped or killed. Because I mentioned that the PM's have done things like drop a package in my mailbox, vist classical at her work or follow Paperbound thru Gunbarrel
city. Entertaining to say the least.
For those of you not on Twitter, I'm sitting at the SLC airport waiting for my flight to Portland. I'm really looking forward to this weekend, full of intrigue and "cloak and dagger" stuff.
I'll update here and on Twitter as soon as there is something to report.

OK, well I'm kind of kidding - that really sounds like a plant, considering just how weird this whole thing has been.
Thanks for the update Paperbound!

For those who don't have Twitter and have been keeping up with all this, thought you might get a bit of a giggle like I did from our dear Courtney the Great:

clas1ca: (She's English and does lovely theatrics. I think I am more amused by her reading than her kid is. But there's that extra coincidence, too.)

I don't know about you guys, but sending an email to "Brightmaninstitute" asking about ways to break into their GPS system just sounds like an all-around bad idea to me, haha.

I'm down. This sounds like its going to be interesting, haha.
Well, we should do something instead of just waiting around. The only people that we know who have connections to the Brightman are Jessica (can't help us), Starr (presumably deceased), and Hatch. Unless I missed something (which is likely,) Hatch is our last option, barring info gained from the Con.

lol - ding ding - that's the million $ question. I'm guessing the information classy and I get this weekend may pertain to that. Or we need classy to get back in touch with hatch, the former guard at Brightman to see if he can offer anything.

It's on folks. I got a reply from Rage this morning. We've got our work cut out for us. And I think we're going to have to call in the help of some old characters...

Wulf, my friend, I can see that this is going exactly as it wasn't supposed to. The more you try to avoid your destiny, the more it climbs up your leg and bites your ass, eh?
So here's how it's going to have to work then.
I can get a boat and make sure that King gets out there, but since I unfortunately no longer have my normal tech resources available, your little folded brood is going to need to become my eyes in the sky.
You'll need to tap into the GPS feed from the Brightman so you can monitor all movements and we're going to have to set up a conference line so we can all be in communication while we're in there. A lot of this is going to depend on your team's actions under pressure.
A very serious caveat, you need to isolate where Lincoln is at and keep me clear of him. If we meet up, all bets are off and everything ends badly. You lose.
I have maintained all along that I involved your group in this for a reason, and this fallback plan is that reason. Don't let me down.
A.R.
I believe the best place to start with gaining access to the internal Brightman systems, is to contact Hatch (hopefully we have his email somewhere), from there - we need to figure out how to identify where Lincoln is - I see that being the tougher spot, unless Jenny can someone how help with that one.
Anyone interested in hacking some "government" systems?

Michael,
I appreciate your dilligence but I'm sure I'm not going to be much help in this area. My assistant delivers my meals usually around 7, noon and 5 and I am free to move from my quarters to the outdoor yard at will. I am not really a prisoner at all by rule, I am instead a prisoner of who I am. Maintance is kept very tight in the areas that I frequent and there are currently no burned out lights, broken windows or leaky pipes. As for gaining access to the Brightman through the front door, I haven't a clue how that works anymore. Although I know that the CIA now runs the facility, my daily life - save for the decrease in visits - has remained unchanged. If you have maps you know more than I can tell you. I am grateful for your help and pray that you are able to get Detective King and Mr. Rage out to see me.

Not much help from the inside.

Wow. Just wow.
I've been lurking and reading this whole thread over the past couple days (along with another 80-something page thread; this is a way better use of my time than actually working at my job.) I wish that I could have been involved in this from the start, because it looks like its been friggin' awesome.
Though it would seem you all are approaching your ultimate goal here, I'm more than happy to help out any way that I can (which, unfortunately, probably is not much.)
Have fun at ARGFest-o-Con, though its a bit late for well wishes! I'm extremely jealous.

Sent a email to Jenny asking for som inside help...
Quote:
Jenny,
With all the information that we received from various places, maps of Brightman, descriptions of the interior, we came to the obvious conclusion that Port and Arlen just aren't going to be able walk up ring the bell to see you. While Alren has the better chance of gaining entrance undetected, two men might be more difficult. Is there any information that you can give us that will help them get in. Any information on guard movements like shift changes, breaks, number of guards. You daily schedule, when are you allowed in the court yard. Are you allowed to move freely around the compound? When do they bring you food? Are there any new procedures to gaining access to Brightman? What are the maintenance schedules like? Any lights out that haven't been replaced, broken windows, etc. Anything you can give us will be helpful. The more that we know about the inside the easier it will be to get them in.

Ok, WTF - that's just creepy. I didn't realize we had a chance to stop him yet, and we've already failed? Here's to hoping Classical has an uneventful train ride..
