I lol'd.

Hopefully Randall will understand that none of the people currently listening to him are able to get out there at this point in time. As much as I would like to, I have neither the time nor the money to take a trip to the West Coast, and from what I've been hearing, it sounds like you guys are feeling the same way.

Now, if Randall wanted to pay for air fare over there, that could be a different story... haha Laughing

I'm sorry if I got a bit personal---but being as pickled as Ted Kennedy's liver made me amorous for some reason.

Cheers.

Oh and do us all a favor and don't forget the youknowwhat again, one of your gang needs to hand me the real thing. If it matches---you pass GO and collect your life back.

So... whoever ends up meeting Randall also needs to have the yuan this time (grumble grumble if we had known that back in Portland, we would've had it...). And I'm guessing that he actually wants one of us to show up, and not our ficitional friends.
Which is gonna take some coordination. I dunno, maybe I can convince him otherwise to 'meet' Rage/Port. Emailing him back...

Once we figure out who is/can meet with Randy I'll mail off the yuan. provided I get the address. Or better yet I have the "key" he should come to me.

Ouch, Wulf. Hope you're able to rectify your situation!

Well, I know that Randall said that he wanted to meet up, but did he specifically say that he wanted to meet up with us? I think you may be on to something, classical. After all, its not like any of us are going to be able to meet him, so we may as well just send Port/Rage to meet him.

Hum. Maybe, considering that we'd be just relaying whatever happens at this meeting to them anyway, we should just cut out the middle man and get Rage and/or Port to meet Randall?

Also, good job Wulf. ;B Hope you get your computer running back up to speed soon!

I was going to suggest and/or try to send an email to Randall again, with a thinly veiled comment about "so will Finlay be joining us"? Mainly meant to be a question to confirm if the meeting place would be at the grave - but it sounds like it might be at the diner.. /shrug

Unfortunately that virus that hit me 2 weeks ago, hid inside some of the "cleaned" files I backed up. So when I accessed them today.... Yeah - all over again. At least I'm in town and have access to my home machine.

Unless someone wants to spend the entire day camping out at the grave, of course!

Anyway, as for a 'who'--no can do over here. Spent all my means on Portland. :B Honestly, I don't know of anyone currently following the game that even lives in the state.

Alright... so I guess we know where to be, and on what day. But, as classical said, we don't have a when. Since this is to meet up with Randall in person, I'm thinking that's rather important. More than likely we missed something.

Unless the meet/drop is moved to Baltimore I'm out.

Damn! THAT's why it was bugging me; I thought I recognized that name... score, in any case!

re: bisquits and gravy
It's a breakfast option on the The Tides Wharf menu. Which is where we decided one of those dots on the red map was located.

But that's more of a 'where', unless you count 'breakfast time' as our 'when'...? I honestly have no idea. Maybe a 'when' isn't really important. It could possibly be another drop with no specific time attached... or... something.

I'm not positive, I need to check, but I think that's on the menu at Crackerbarrel. I should know by now since that's where i eat breakfast every morning when I'm on the road...

=edit=
Nevermind

Going back to what TheCheese said, I'm thinking that the when would be August 31. That makes a lot of sense, given that the 31st is three weeks away (enough time to plan to get there, but not too far into the future.) Unless we get something else suggesting something different, that sounds like something good to go on.

More props to TheCheese!

Yes, More props to TheCheese! So we have the "Where", the "When" (although a specific time might be nice. Maybe the Princess Di's TOD?)

Now the more I look at the note Classi got why didn't I see it before...
