Strangely enough, this does not make me feel any better about all this.

I hate text for one reason: You can't hear the intonation of Bricker's voice when he says that.

This sounds pretty ominous. The only thing missing is an evil laugh.

Well, he got all that were hanging around at the California safehouse, aside from Holly. I've assumed there are still agents scattered about (Hatch is one of them), but just nowhere near the concentration they had before. Which is why perhaps they had to hire outside help (Randall)?

Replied to ask what exactly he was writing, so let's see if he will let us in on it...

Remember that Randall thinks Port and Rage are fictional, i.e. they don't exist in his reality, the one that he and Bricker exist in. So anything that he could possibly do would be to Bricker or, perhaps, whichever Watcher hired him to help us.

That said, Rage has always been somewhat unpredictable, which is why I'm hoping he'll respond to my email...

Then again, what if Randall isn't the traitor and we miss him at the cemetery on the 31st?

Well, that all happened rather fast. Bricker's in danger, someone is a traitor, and now we have creepy bunnies running around in our heads. The ironic thing is that the rest of Donnie Darko fits in really well to this game. I was thinking about it before. I won't go into details, because I don't want to spoil the movie, but if you've seen it, you should be able to draw the same parallels as I have.

As far as the traitor goes, we only have four people that we are remaining in contact with: Port, Rage, Bricker, and Randall. As far as I can tell, Port and Bricker probably aren't the traitors because neither of them have anything to gain, and stand to lose everything, by betraying us. Not to mention that it was Port who warned about the traitor, and we were warned to protect Bricker. Which leaves Rage and Randall, neither of which I'm too keen on trusting. Though to be fair, Rage has done more to earn our trust than Randall has.

So if Randall's the traitor, what did he do? I mean, he only has our email addresses. He's not aware of the whereabouts of Bricker or Port and Rage, is he? It sounds to me like we just need to tell Bricker not to go to the cemetery, and to get himself in hiding.

I actually think that the Locomotive Breath thing was not that we're running out of steam, but more that we're reaching the end and we have to keep going until that end, despite what we might encounter.

And I wanna say our traitor might be Randall, but you've made an interesting point, Wulf... methinks I may try emailing Rage right now...

The bunny costume was worn by Donnie's sisters boyfriend, but the bunny that kept appearing to him "Frank" was just part of Donnie's fractured psyche. It was a portrayal of Donnie's dark-half. Whom he blamed all the bad things on, for instance when the school statue was beheaded, etc. IN essence - he is/was the bunny. So what does this say about Bricker?

Wait wait wait, could that mean the Bricker's "bunny", so-to-speak is...Rage?

That's kinda what I'm thinking - except Bricker has multiple bunnies...

Of course don't take this as gospel, I'm just speculating.

I was just about to say this exact thing.

And I too am a little bit lost with the locomotive breath clue...unless we're being told we're running out of steam, maybe? Which, I know I've been running out of steam. I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around all the different possibilities with this. Determined to see it through, but lost all the same!

Also - I gotta side with TheCheese here, who're you thinking the traitor is? And why?

So is 'there is a traitor in our midst' referring to Randall and we are to prevent this meeting from happening or what?

Also I'm having problems getting anything out of the locomotive breath clue. Although lovomotivebreath.blogspot.com is a curious little page (but last updated in 2002 leaving it OOG) :B
