I thought it was an amazing movie. And yes I always wanted to post... but I'll refrain from posting a new one but I will post an epic shot from this movie.

Nope,
nope
and nope.
Though the 'christmassy' setting is a natural state where this movie was shot. For indeed this country is beautiful .
These are actually not power-lines. It's a fence disguised as power-lines.

Something from the "Cold Prey" (Fritt vilt) series?
Scratch that... How about "Dark Woods" (Villmark)?

I don't remember either of those scenes, but the setting seems proper enough to throw out the wild guess of...
In that case. It's still not a war movie but remarkably closer to "Dog Soldiers".

lol, i would call Dog Soldiers (2002) more horror/SciFi than "war movie", it runs on the SyFy channel along with their other trashy low-budget fare.
* catherwood * tries just typing "slash me" to see if the forum populates my nick, just as it does IRC

Smart question. One answer would be: It's not an 'English speaking' flick but it did run in theaters and came out on DVD in the US and UK.

Famous nameless face indeed. One among many 'bit players' that you instanly recognize as 'what-his-name' followed by character names from a long line of movies.
This new movie is an outsider.

Another hint: This film includes who I consider the most overlooked actor of all-time; Who, despite working in as many as 30 movies a year, many of which garnered awards for others, never played the lead and comes away with only a star on the Walk of Fame (for his television work) and induction into the Hall of Great Western Performers.
