Nope. Here's another still that might make it a little more obvious.
If it isn't guessed by tomorrow, I'll post a more obvious shot.

No and no. It's a few years newer than John Q and a few years older than 1408. And a completely different genre than both.

1408 (2007) Grasping at straws here but you are only sure to never hit anything if you don't shoot at all.

Alright, it's been over 24 hours now, I think. Here's shot 2.

This looks very familiar.
Can't quite place it though... but it looks so familiar.

Alright, here goes. The screenshot isn't as obscure as I would like, but this is one of those movies that is hard to find clips from that don't give it away instantly.

Yep! Nice one.^^
gah! too soon! I'm not ready with a new one, maybe I should have let others have more of a chance to guess, too. (Plus, i see you had more clues lined up, sorry about that) It was really a gut feeling for the style and time period when I might have seen it, so I guessed based on what few animations I had seen way back when. You're right, we are lacking in that genre, but sometimes it takes just a penstroke to give away the artist.
Anyway, I have nothing cued up, if anyone else wants to jump in. (I'd even give our newbie a second go-around, if no one objects)
Very good point with animation styles, which is why I tried to go with one that I felt would be more obscure (unlike the ton of Disney movies that are incredibly obvious). I actually wasn't going to use Watership Down, but the live action movie I was going to use is just so dark that I think some people might have problems seeing the screenshots.
And if no one has any objections, I'd be willing to go again. I can grab some screenshots quickly, since I'm on Spring Break and doing nothing today.

Yup. No need to confirm it again but I'd like to welcome new talent personally. So... welcome.
Got to say it looks somewhat familiar. At least the style does.
Dunderklumpen?
Haha, thanks for the welcome.^^
And no to Dunderklumpen. Although, looking up that movie, I'm now tempted to see it.
