Long time since I last checked this thread but I've got news -- I think I'm in. I had sent something when Howard/Watchman first asked for responses, but didn't get a reply, so the second call I decided to resend it again in case my first email got lost in the void. Got a reply this morning:

The subject of that email was: While seven are celebrated in France, numbers become pressing -- I've been away on vacation and not current on news, does this have any particular meaning?
If you want to know what I sent, just ship off a PM. I consider Unfiction forums to be fair game, but since there seems to be a sense of "mystery" around this task I'll try to be discreet about it this time.

Does it mean that only one person (Zobot) has proved their loyalty, but at least three are needed? That's strange, what about punxtr and draghkar? I'd rather not become a key player, because I tend to be unavailable quite often and it would spoil everything if I disappeared in the middle of something, so, well, I'm useless here (it's not pleasant to say, though).

Nicely done! Of course you can't share the template or anything, but just to confirm, is it asking for our commitment to nature or to the world of the Green as described in the short story?

I sent my message to Howard.
It was kinda personal and I don't know if it'll actually be accepted as proof. But once he responds back I'll post it up and we'll see if we can have more context as to what sort of "proof" the Watchman requires.

Well, I've not really been about past few days bar the odd check in and skim, been trying to wrap my head around some writing - writer's block is a bitch - but got the e-mail with the similar message, which made me pop in. I see there's been a fair amount of development. So, are we sure that this is devotion to nature? Also, when's the next full moon?

I got a similar message in my email. And I have been thinking..
How to show devotion to the Green? It might be impossible with my limited scope of this game. But given how our benefactor has talked, I think I may have an idea...
Phrases like "land of quartz and cable" and the request to not involve death and our patrons general disdain towards mortals and mention of "Natural peace"..
This may sound stupid to you all, but, um... maybe we should be showing Howard/Watchman a loyalty towards nature? I am gonna try something...
