EDIT: I just tried to search for this numbers on the original code and it's not there.. so this has to be something

Just look at how repetitive the "readable" text chunks are.
It's the same stuff over and over again with minor differences.
Also, take a look at this:
Code:
$EEt) щEE"$ DD D DEE(@C$$ $E DE y$Ct $ U } $踺"D $D щj$ G$B Ǵ "yDEкEE~E Ǻ C@ $D $ljDD $$ Lj$ ¡$ EE DX )ZǿS} $} "CEf ED $X jCDDE 0: Ѕ E $D$DE $ ) E"t$D$ E $EE " $" "D$"WD $`DUD"D$$$ D$DCEDǍEE$ $$DDj~ ( E E" ǵEϴ$, D $ "E 艍 $ CWE"lj $ E :"E$؈ $ щ DE$ C 4 E $ $$DU$UCD B S $$ED 4E)" UED$ D ECC D "ZC D DCD " , DWd $U EǍ$$D E $$$ $ E " :
This could have easily been what the PMs did. Think about it. If this were real-life, there'd be no reason why they couldn't give us that code. The PMs had a choice: break our immersion, or give us code. They chose the less-taboo option.

I think i'll leave this to someone who has good experience with it. Because the program I use (Open Office) Opens up about 3,505 pages, and since I don't know what i'm looking for, and even if I did I wouldn't understand it. It would probably be time wasted on me.
The only difference I saw (Skimming) was the thread of line's I showed you is shorter in the code.dump file than the original.dump file.
Anyways there is a whole long list with that kind of string going on, and on. That's only a small piece.
Maybe it's something about LAINSY? You know... traits.. AI.. and such...

Is there a way to compare the files side by side? I mean, that's the point of having the modified and changed codes, right? Maybe it could narrow it down from everything to just the parts where the modified is different from the original. Just a thought.

Either I have something else downloaded that's incompatible or I have to download something else. I can't get it to work right.

Well, I opened code.dump in Notepad (which, surprisingly "worked" (if by "worked" you mean I got a bunch of "lUEJQUQ]ÐUE")) and managed to find that text somewhere in the middle, so, it IS in the file.
EDIT: And... I found it in "original," too...
Along with a whole bunch of pointless stuff like
Code:
-+xX0123456789abcdef0123456789ABCDEF -+xX0123456789abcdefABCDEF -0123456789 GMT HST AKST PST MST CST EST AST NST CET IST EET JST %m/%d/%y August September October November December Jan %H:%M:%S AM PM Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat January February March April May June July Feb Mar Apr Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec C
The "original" seems to have a lot more of this repetitive English gibberish. These files look almost like the PMs had fun copy/pasting random words and characters for 1/2 an hr. I smell a red herring (or "trout"? is that what you guys call it? Still uncertain as to the usage of that term).

I don't know if I opened the file right but I found this near the bottom.
Code:
SYSTEM ERROR : That wasn't a positive number **You do know what this program is for, right? SYSTEM ERROR : That wasn't a positive number
**You do know what this program is for, right?
is odd. Conjecture calculated is odd. Conjecture calculated
is even. Conjecture calculated is even. Conjecture calculated SYSTEM ERROR : A zero or negative number has been encoutered. ************ There's problem with your computer's math skills. SYSTEM ERROR : A zero or negative number has been encoutered.
************ There's problem with your computer's math skills.

Process completed. It took steps to complete the operation. Process completed.
steps to complete the operation.
Is this my computer error or is that from the dump file?
Sorry I know NOTHING about this.

Ok, I know a lot about computers and technology, but I have absolutely no clue how to even OPEN a .dump file. I'll leave it to the two of you that seem to at least have an idea as to what program to install.
Also, did anyone ever ask Dan about the FTP server? Or should I do it?

I'm attempting to install a debugger as well but, as with yours, it's going to take awhile.
EDIT --
It just finished installing. Let's see if I did it right.
