I'm kind of useless with ciphers and whatnot, but is there any chance the code from the audio is in the dial tones, instead of/in addition to the morse? for some reason i don't feel like it was put there just to confuse us. I don't know how one would go about decoding that though.
ETA: the file is 'L6dtfm' and dtmf is the term for the dialing signals on an analog phone.... I'm not sure if that's a clue to what we're supposed to look at, or a red herring, though.

get sleep my friend, however, the file you uploaded was.. incomplete. You can just re-upload that tomorrow.
this seems like a hard one. PMs got to be making it real hard to move from L6 to L7 since L7 is where all crazy stuff's got to be. I'll look over this before I head over to sleep, too.

I've got the Morse isolated. I tried not to smooth the frequency too much this time, and it looks cleaner than before. Sounds about the same, but I never did this by ear entirely.
Edit--It appears to require a Caesarian shift of 12. No key. It should be a URL. This is what I got (only the first part makes sense, it seems to suggest www.reboot--)
Wow, you guys move so fast! I've been stalking this thread for two days, and I've hardly made any posts 'cause you guys are whipping through all this like there's no tomorrow. I feel so useless, but in a good way. XD
And this whole thing started at last sunday? or was it monday? Not sure, but yeah... It's really going so fast right now...
Any luck with the morse I can't listen to it anymore because I keep getting distracted by the tones... it feels so catchy and grabs my focus when the morse code sound gets lower...

Dan is hitting the sack tonight. I've promised him a translation within an hour. I want to keep that promise.
Yes! I've edited out one of the interfering frequencies! Almost cleaned up and ready to read!
I've got this thing edited so well, but my translation doesn't make sense. Grr...

Well, my attempts at cleaning the file up have made the beeping more prominent, however, the two beeping tracks blend together beyond recognition as a result.

That musical sound is very distracting... and some of the morse are hardly heard...

It was giving me a 403 error as well then I refreshed only to find, "Oh mp3."
Listening to it reminds me of some nursery rhyme for some reason. Like the high tones or something.

Ok, NTS, there's more than one code that can look like that.
The MP3 file sounds like Morse code with static and random phone dialing in the BG
EDIT: reverse that, if anything's in the background, it's the Morse code.
EDIT2: I got a 403 on my first try, but after typing in the L6 URL again, I got in. Not sure why that happened.

I think I found something.... I found between all the garbage stuff
Is there a way to compare the files side by side? I mean, that's the point of having the modified and changed codes, right? Maybe it could narrow it down from everything to just the parts where the modified is different from the original. Just a thought.
