I rethought his words, and they technically still were right. It's just he was slightly vague in the old email I was basing the "right" answer off of. I'm pretty sure it's Dan. I've also already told Dan what I sent, and since Alex responded oblivious to cherrytree I'm going to assume that's proof Alex has not compromised Dan's email too.

Since we have some developments i've decided to "play" with Alex.
What I did was sent him an email saying "I hope you're ready the next step has luanched"
Because I think we all know that Alex really does not know Genus's plan or is faking it.
He responded:

Honestly, LAINSY was very specific about how I sent that logic, so I think it has to be in text form. The problem is, the other images don't seem to be logic, just random words or numbers. Maybe the SS image could be sent as logic?

Holy shitake! Guys, I need some feedback. I entered the proper logic, but I have two options:

Also, I've been talking to "Dan" lately... I've asked him very personal questions, and so far he has answered half of it wrong. If he answers the other half wrong, we know this isn't Dan! (It's a good thing I shot the shit with Dan for a while.)
