See, now that's something else that's been bothering me. While we don't have any reason to think so (aside from suspicious character, which isn't quite enough), what would be keeping Alex from making LAINSY lie to us? All we have to go on that Dan's safe is the word of LAINSY, which can be manipulated, and Alex, who is, of course, suspicious.

Again, we don't have a reason to not believe them; or inversely, there's no evidence to point at it all being a big lie. Not yet, anyways. It's just an unsettling thought that hasn't seemed to want to leave my mind. :/

I'm just glad my initial suspicion of Faux Dan was right, although I sort of reneged on this later. I still truly dislike Alex. That extended transfusion only stopped me short of hating him.

Hmm, yeah, between the nursery rhyme-esque logic line and what went down (or what we're led to believe went down), it doesn't quite make sense at face value. Alex is a shady guy, but from what we've seen of him I don't think he's capable of taking a life on his own volition. We haven't been able to see much about Genus yet, but depending on how this next arc goes, I could see Dan's end come about by Genus' machinations.

I'm also hoping that "kill" bit isn't meant literally, but at this point I can't really find an alternate way to read that convincingly. That verb "kill" just seems too extreme to be referring to barring Dan from the company or plans in some capacity. With how things are going, I'm worried for the guy's life. D:

And tracing our steps, I wonder how Dan wound up as a popcicle in the first place. Did we determine whether the Toronto emails were legitimate? And also, how does one's ID wind up some distance away from your frozen body for a day or two?

Good questions Solar. I haven't seen anything to suggest that Dan is in immediate danger right now though. If Alex wanted to off Daniel wouldn't he have just let him die or take him out in the cryo unit? I took the sword killing miller thing to mean he was removing him from involvement so the plan could proceed, not necessarily that he was being killed (even though that was entirely possible). I guess we will just have to wait and see what transpires next.

Punxtr, the bit about sending genus a picture attachment instead of text was hilarious. I almost wet myself laughing,...almost.

Wow, been watching since Pottermore and a few other things have been drawing my activity away from this, but that arc was intense. That was some nice quick thinking, guys!

Although I keep coming back to the bit of "killing the Miller with his Sword." You don't think the blood transfusion may have doomed Miller, do you? The body doesn't necessarily have to reject the transfusion for there to still be a problem with it, although LAINSY's updates about his stability seems to indicate that's not what will happen. Maybe we should ask Alex to leave Dan in someone else's hands and put some distance in between them, for Dan's sake? Or maybe it might not matter, maybe Dan's doomed either way and Alex isn't physically or directly the culprit? I just hope we can keep that from happening.
