used what? I don't get it. Am I missing something here?

Anyways, the joke was much funnier when LAINSY kinda explain it. ANyways, anyone here who had decrypted the files? I'm still having a hard time on it.

Damnit, I think I used OREIN and SCARLETMASTER but never MASTER then SCARLET...

Anyway, LAINSY processed the joke as logic, and this was her answer:

Well I guess you could try to send the cipher text to LAINSY directly. Maybe the PM's will bash us with the clue stick with the joke again.

The only other thing is may "dead" as a key word. Though I would be worried if the two keys were orein and dead. (The main reason I think dead as the key was because it's futile to try to catch dead fish.) Though like Alex I don't find the joke funny myself.

Also those numbers make me think of a Gronsfield cipher which is almost like vigenere cipher. But then again they haven't changed the encoding method on us now.

It makes it highly likely this joke may be the key to the OREIN file since it is in the Whispher folder *Shurgs* but I could be wrong.

I asked LAINSY what the joke was. These are the messages I got in order. I had to ask her several questions to get them. The third message was from me asking what the key was. The last one was from asking her what the full joke was.

I asked her other things, like who the joke was intended for, what was the perfect SETTING to tell the joke, et cetera. She wouldn't answer those.

I have a headache, someone just solve emily.txt now please.

And yes, I've vigenere'd the piss out of those key words.

I'm in the midst of trying out a new lead. If I can't figure it out, I'll tell everyone what I found.

Edit--I am definitely heading in some productive direction. Still trying.

Edit2--I can't make heads or tails of this, and I've got a lot of info to go on...
