Apologies if people have noticed this already -- I just checked in this morning and noticed that the FAILTECH website is down. If you check the HTML source there's a comment:

LAINSY Bio-AI Processing System Power Core replacement.
Current Power Core is nearly depleted. To be replaced with
fresh Power Cores. Possibility of the network going offline
is high, it is critical to put LAINSY offline momentarily before
installing new power core.

"The Powerhouse" has started posting.
The first new post is essentially an advertisement giving us a background on what exactly Klein Energy does.
Won't take up space by pasting it here.

Great! Now there are even more options for passphrases and keys.
Just a heads up... The http://kleinenergyco.com website updated.. Now looks like the black industries site...

I've taken a big break from this ARG. Those ciphers drove me bonkers, and I never decoded one.

I'm still taking a crack at EMILY every once in a while. There is just too much superfluous information to sift through to find the clue that will tell us how to decipher it.

Asked about Ryan Bruno:
Quote:
Ryan Bruno is a current FAILTECH employee. He is currently the Head LAINSY AI Programmer and leads the LAINSY Development Team. His previous position before this is LAINSY AI Programmer, and works under Emily Rain. He was promoted to his current position in November 2007, roughly three months after Emily Rain's last logged appearance for work. As described in FAILTECH Standard Procedures, if an employee does not show up to work for 90 days or has been declared missing and has not filed any official leave or has been found shall be replaced with the next qualified employee under his/her team or department.

Yep, Jean Klein=Klein Energy. Makes me wonder about the connection that Jean Klein has considering all the talk about energy in the files. Remember what Genus said the Afyg told him about how much energy he would need? http://failtechnologies.com/sfs/L7/SCR/WHISPHER/OREIN/DOCS/requirement
Maybe we need to ask more questions about this Klein character.

LAINSY's still available to ask questions, so I've been asking it a few. I asked to categorize the log file on the LAINSY Project from the time of Emily Rain's last log entry up until the day she was declared missing:
Quote:
88 log entries sorted into topic based on my judgement on the details entered by the employees.
72 daily maintenance log entries
6 weekly audit log entries
4 hardware related log entry
3 protocol related log entry
1 power related log entry
2 miscellaneous log entry
I then asked for the log entries for all of the entries except for the 72 daily maintenance log entries:
Quote:
I have sorted the logs based on your previous query.
My guess is Jean Klein = Klein Energy Corp? Isn't she on the BOD?

OOG team has just sent us a sort of survey. I don't see any point of copying it here. Also, they said the episode 3 mirror site is now up at http://e3.failtechnologies.com

I asked Daniel some questions about Emily and Scarlet and about James Alberts. I also noted the log entries.
Quote:
Emily and Scarlet is still a bit blurry to me, might be the injury. However, if you do have the log number, you could always query LAINSY for full details for any particular log entry that's in her system. I hope that helps.
Anyways, thanks for the concern. I'm probably much happier than you that I am alive and well. When Alex placed me in cryo, I thought it was the end for me. And then, here I am and he saved me. He might have staged that, but oh well.
And no, I am not aware of any pet names. Or at least I can't remember any right now. I'll ping you when I remember anything regarding that.

So I just queried Lainsy about the details of the logs that posse received.
Her response...
Quote:
I have pulled the detail of the log entries, however specifics you requested cannot be extracted from the log. Log entries only contain information entered by employees.
(Log Entry Number):(Employee Name): (Description): (Attached notes or details)
7-7-07-00234:Emily Rain: Performed maintenance and added new advanced AI link control parameters: Maintenance routine has been run and successfully completed. I've added some new AI control parameters so that LAINSY can interact with the new hardware that will be installed today
7-7-07-00249:Emily Rain: Installed updated hardware: New hardware has been installed on the Colorado Facility. The new hardware should significantly enhance the logic processing of LAINSY and allow her to self-update and learn as needed.
7-7-07-00250:Emily Rain: Initiate hardware refresh: I refreshed LAINSY so that she will recognize the newly installed hardware. It was successful. From now on, I think programmers are no longer needed to update LAINSY since she can learn by herself.
7-7-07-00311:Emily Rain: Updated protocols: For safety and security, I updated some protocols to allow LAINSY to perform needed task without utilizing more than required resources and to prevent external access to the new hardware and protect the integrity of LAINSY. Please note that these protocols need to be updated regularly as LAINSY learns.
7-7-07-00511:James Alberts: LAINSY Maintenance Inspection - PASSED: Today maintenance and upgrade routine passed my inspection. Emily Rain did another job well done. The new hardware is a giant piece of metal with liquid tubing noted on report for cooling. New hardware requires regular supply of a particular energy pack, which will be supplied and manufactured by Klein Energy. It is mandatory, as indicated on the report, that the energy pack be supplied and replenished even if LAINSY is offline. As indicated on report, new hardware is a DNA based biotechnology storage and computing hardware. As a part of this log entry, I duly note that all inspection passed standard procedures and as and additional note, the new hardware has to be regularly maintained. See LAINSY handbook for details.

Ep3 is over, but I still have some info I got from LAINSY about Emily Rain's disappearance:
Quote:
LAINSY SAYS: QUERY PROCESSED
Last accounted date she showed up for work was on July 7 2007 for a maintenance task on the LAINSY Project. She was then marked as MISSING on the database on August 11 2007.
I then asked about the logs of the LAINSY Project for July 7 2007:
Quote:

Episode 3 is over.
Quote:
Hello!
Sorry if we kinda, abruptly ended episode 3. We still don't feel like it's the best ending for it, or conclusion. But hey, the story still goes on! We all observed that most of the main participants are busy, and so are we. We'll be busy for the next few weeks and thus might not be able to provide the optimal experience we wanted to provide. So instead of providing substandard entertainment, we'll just give everyone a rest for now. Don't worry, we have things coming up for everyone and we're planning to expand this universe a bit.
We still don't have a target date for the next episode, but we're planning right around September. It might take longer, but we'll try our best. We hope everyone had fun, and we will be back! Plus, we're planning to add a few more people to the crew so that we can upgrade the experience a bit.
There's still more to FAILTECH and there's more in this universe that needs some solving and exploring! See you on the next episode!
FAILTECH ARG Team
P.S. We'd appreciate any feedback and suggestion to help improve this ARG for everyone. Thanks! Oh, and you can still feel free to interact with any of the characters, because there's no need to kill of the fun from this point on.
