I think we can still communicate with the characters -- I had sent a reply to Ryan Bruno's email and asked about Emily Rain. He responded just now:

For one, Klein Energy who supplies the custom power cores to LAINSY is a FAILTECH company, so handing over LAINSY is just a stupid idea since you can't use LAINSY without her power cores. Plus, the entire LAINSY kernel is custom made to run only in LAINSY specific hardware that we designed ourselves. It can never run on any other hardware. No other company can match the processing power LAINSY has and requires. And for reference, we even shared some details on LAINSY's processing power on our Facebook page. So yes, we're happily ignoring them and that Emily Rain is still missing, most probably, only Genus Orein is the only one who knows what happened to her.

Well, their OOG email did they they will be busy until September, so I do not wonder why they can't respond to emails... Which is probably also why they cut us off from LAINSY since maybe no one could actually reply to emails... so just sit down and relax.... Stop messing things up and be patient.

G$20 didn't cause them to cut us off from LAINSY himself. Last time he said he broke LAINSY, he actually did nothing except get himself targeted by LAINSY. It doesn't seem like he's actually altering the game as much as he thinks.
