I don't know what it is about that image but I keep thinking of "The Handmaid's Tale"...?
I never saw that movie, so I cannot tell you how close or far that is, but that's not it.

nope, not that movie, and no cars were burned in the making of mine.
need i confirm that it is also not War Games? As a reminder, here is the list of what has already been used and thus can no longer be a correct guess. http://tinyurl.com/yfzvtz
I need to check whether my car shots will be an easy search in a database. Here's hoping there is no database of toys appearing in movies:

(I think Tharol just like having the last word in every thread)
Nothing sinister or special about using the library, it just happened to be a recent film someone in the house rented. Unfortunately, the DVD copy was already checked out of the library, so i picked something from a neighboring shelf. It has a lot of cars for Rogi to lookup in that database he likes to use, but I'll start you off with a significant... fence.

Reading your shot made it look more jet plane over space craft movie.

It worries me that you're actually going to a library to find this movie. It must be pretty special!!

my apologies, we have a movie here that i wanted to use, borrowed from the library, but it's on BluRay and not DVD (don't take that as a hint!), meaning this computer cannot take the screen captures I want. I'll go back to the library tomorrow for a replacement. Give me another 24 hours, please, and forgive me just this one time.

Hey catherwood - you want to guess right! It is Brainstorm, starring Christopher Walken and Natalie Wood. Well done!!
whoops! I forgot to set up the next challenge. Can you wait 24 hours? I'll dig up something tonight. btw, the water slide felt ever so familiar to me, as did the dining hall before it, but the shot that really jogged my memory was that massive reel of data storage tape. Ahhh technostalgia.

Fun I have to laugh because of a Family Guy charade where Joe falls out boat later he said Peter was right it was Natalie Wood now for the movie.
