I'm probably stretching things, but I can't help but wonder if the quotes imply the futility of trying to prevent the catastrophe with the cycles. BI's quote fits with how the previous cycles continued to fail after the first cycle. DC's quote, which I interpreted as focusing on what could have been done differently in the past as opposed to looking at what can be done in the future, seems to reinforce the cyclical nature of what's happening. I'm not sure how KE would fit if this is the case, but it does remind me of a season 1 file that mentioned breaking the universe by trying to do something without energy.
They say for my travel to be successful, I'll need to destabilize time and move the entire universe around me.
So I asked how I could do that. They say, "If you're asking how much energy, that's totally out of the question.
yo better ask, what's not required for this."
SO then I went ahead and asked that. Guess what the answer was....
What I don't need is energy. So I asked why. And one Afyg said, "If you can do something without
using energy, obviously you just broke the universe. And that's the point."
Argh, why haven't I noticed the relationship between the quotes?

Just speculating

Edit: Here are the quotes for reference.

I had a moment to pause and think about this one and realize tiday is Feb .29.... So essentially, it's 11x4 which is 44... So he's 44 today, they're just making fun of the fact that he's born on feb29... Which only comes every 4 years....
Yeah, no discounts today...

I never got a chance to ask about him. I'll try to find out though. Should be a slow day today at Failtech considering that there are no discounts today

Our research show that potatoes contain chemicals that react with stomach acid to create rocket fuel. A little caution when farting.

well, based on themedic's investigation, this may be a sideeffect/feature of the new log protocol... martin doesn't need to report it because it's beyond his jurisdiction?
also, interesting to hear about background information about duo corp (they haven't played much role in season 1) and what their relationship with FAILTECH is.... I wonder how this acquisition will play out for season 2...

I wonder if this Greenland incident is related to the Jhuku since the post Subject 45459 made before getting kidnapped lists Greenland as the location. I'm curious why Martin didn't report on it, though.
