I spent the better part of yesterday trying to get a clear shot of that barcode/whateveritis..

While it does look like some kind of alphanumerical sequence, there was no way to enlarge it enough without losing focus to decipher it..

They put it there for a reason., but its not readable by any apps I own..

We may have already hit the password and not know it if its case sensitive .. Jus one misplaced capital letter and kaboom..

I've been working on highlighting and then dragging images into the password box. If you highlight an image from a random unconnected website (or various images from around the weylandindustries website) the entire password box fills up with circles. However, if you highlight the blue "Project Prometheus | Weyland Corp" box directly above the login box it comes up as only a single closed circle. This is the only image that I've found this to be the case for. Using it alone to login still gives Access Denied, but maybe it's a combination of images? That would go along with the "it's closer than you think" message. Just a thought...

I'm certain it's nothing but I swear that's changed. It said something about the factor that he upped the investment by. Oh well.

I don't mean to belittle the work of others but I think it's a bit of a leap to start adding together dates to total other numbers. It's verging on numerology.

Some rough work thanks to MSPaint (go ahead and laugh). Pleiades is probably the right place to look, considering that the stars of the various ancient images match most closely to those of the Pleiades, accounting for star movement (over the course of centuries, stars appear to move based on the fact that the Earth revolves around the Sun, which revolves around the Milky Way).

Also, I've tried translating the glyphs on the wall shown in the trailer. I don't think it's possible with the information we have. There are at least 30 different glyphs and all sections contain none or little repetition, so they probably represent words instead of characters.

I think that the password has to be something personal and important to Peter Weyland. It's his pet project, and he comes across as a bit of an egomaniac.

There's red herrings and then there's the entire catalogue of human history.

Something from 2004 about Weyland's patent from when he was 14 would have been reasonable enough if only for filler.

I don't think anything we've done is on the right track. How could learning about mythology and astronomy lead us to a password? Are we really just going to have to try millions of words that might be related as the password? It has to be more concrete than that, like the Morse code puzzle. We will see something that will make us say, "That is a password."
