Anyone else notice the link on the Weyland Timeline to the first Project Prometheus password page has now changed to http://www.projectprometheus.com/pp-245409/

Is this a clue that we should now be looking for a /pp-???/ style directory?

Long since debunked I'm afraid. The site (and the Yutani one) was listed in 2004.

To follow-up for possible reproduction:

Best way to view what I'm talking about is to Deinterlace using Phosphor mode. Put the movie on repeat and watch the left of the screen, you'll see large amplitude flashes of a brighter nature; these amplitudes immediately shrink. Another way, within VLC, is to use the "Video Effects", "Colors" tab, and "Negate Colors" (only this option). You will see the difference.

Edit: Also try with "Posterize".

we have also been looking at the cosmic call 2 which we have found 3/5...
so I'm assuming each call relates to an element. Also somebody mentioned that the Project Prometheus logo had a symbol that looked like it related to the five elements.

the elements are likely to be either Babylonian or Greek style if the themes are concurrent with what we have seen so far.

Babylonian Elementals
sea, earth, fire, sky, and wind

Greek Elementals
Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Aether (heavens, space etc)

I'll go with greek for now
Aether PICTURE 1 Star Maps

Air PICTURE 2 shows The Prometheus in the Sky

Earth PICTURE 2 shows the Prometheus crew landed on the surface

I think the next two images will relate to water and fire and I also think that once we have all five we will unlock something cool, just like in The 5th Element

if your theory is right about water being next then logically we need to follow clues plus trailer

Maybe it is he who is in the trailer ?

Water = Water
Gas = Air
Oil = Fire
Coal = Earth

???

I know it's a stretch as three of those can be used for fire.

Hello all! I just joined so I could comment on the movie file -- I'm able to watch the entire thing and have been playing with filters. There looks to be a waveform in the background. The bottom two black spheres have pixels which are moving. I have also converted it into a high quality mp4. If I get to anything cool, I'll let you know.

(You all are doing a great job by the way. Alien is my favorite movie ever and I can't wait to see what new creation is going to scare me. Also, any tip-of-the-hats to the overall universe.)

Isn't it just a deliberate blurring they added to allow it to loop? Otherwise it would have looked odd/naff if it had just started again.

The ogv file has strange behavior at the end of it. I think its a glitch as well, but its not possible here to do a proper frame advance in the last 5% of the file.

I like the theory but I think that the highlighting is just the key indicating that water is neither a mineral or a fuel.

I know, I just cant shake the feeling that the next photo will be a shot of the waterfall in the trailer... but anyway, to find it!
