On June 1st it will all become clear... #areyouseeingthis.

There is only one timeline entry for June 1:

Cure for the Common Cancer
Scientists from the Health Division identify the genetic chain of events for 98% of cancers. Using genetically-altered cells as well as elements found beyond Earth's heavens, Weyland successfully deploys an effective cure for almost all cancers.

June 1, 2022

Has that part about "elements found beyond Earth's heavens" always been there? And if it hasn't, is it again pointing to the resource table as the next clue?

Not sure if it's related to the viral at all. June 1st is the UK release date for Prometheus.

Twisted Evil Although, I still don't remember that part about elements being there before...

Has anyone noted the connection with Frankenstein; The Modern Promethues and the restarting of a dead brain?

What a novel way for a great man, or even a King, to deny the inevitable by restarting his brain in perhaps an Android?

Once the first great man, or even a King, has passed his return would be a new reign. A second King. David was the second King of Jerusalem.

We have gone over the connection to Frankenstien, the unorthodox scientific experiment.. And I am mashing up this with other movies..but.

God creates man,
Man creates Machine,
God punishes man for playing God
Machine takes over and destroys man
David becomes king...

..woman inherits the earth.. wait what??? Shocked

And we can fit the movie in here with ..ehh..someone trying to steal...things Wink And a new... bio-mechanical creation... and a couple of androids evolving.. but i just talk outta my ass half the time.. so no one should listen to jane von foilhat. Flaming Nutter

How many months left of "screenshots" we got left? these mo'fo's better up the ante...I think most of us old' timers have gone into lurk mode Sad

Very interesting. I had tweeted that maybe Peter was always an android that had been guiding human development until he could make David and send him home. But your thought that he is a genius who becomes David seems more in character for Peter- who wants to control everything looks like.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. It could still be a new "pattern", but it's noteworthy for mentioning some of the stars of the Reticulum constellation, specially the Zeta Reticuli system already referenced. However, those aren't the only ones suspected of harboring life:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/82_Eridani
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gliese_86

Out of these two, 82 Eridani has more planets, not to mention it's part of the Eridanus constellation, home of Epsilon Eridani: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epsilon_Eridani

And btw, shouldn't Zeta1 and Zeta2 be referenced as "Reticuli" together, anyway? It's a binary system, which is why they have the 1 and 2 denominations... As much as Reticula is a plural of Reticuli, it seems off.

Learning Latin, through an ARG? I wouldn't have thought...

Also Jane, that's a beautiful pregnant lady, thanks for posting. I bet her baby will grow to be just as cute as her mother.

Fore or For whatever reason.

Homonyms are "steel" a bug in the David androids, that still have yet to be addressed, amended, or fixed.

Buyer or Investor....BEWARE!

*Note: In my College English Writing Class we call those that are ignorant of homonyms, Idiots...not Androids.

But change is afoot...soon "Idiot" will be synonymous with "Android" and vice a versa

Peter Weyland We apologize for the mistake. This was wrote by one of our new "David" Android. He was thinking too much about "steel" we're guessing. It is "still". Obviously.

Reticuli - Reticula - Reticulum - Rediculus!!

Noun

1. Reticulum - a small constellation in the southern hemisphere near Dorado and Hydrus

2. reticulum - any fine network (especially one in the body composed of cells or blood vessels)

reticula is the plural of reticulum?

Reticulum is plural as in a collection of, say "Stars". As in a collection of or constellation of Stars, hence the constellation Reticulum.

Am I getting this right? Learning as I go.

Now Reticuli...that's another matter.

Zeta Reticuli (ζ Ret, ζ Reticuli) is a binary star system in the southern constellation of Reticulum. From the southern hemisphere the pair can be seen as a naked eye double star in very dark skies. Based upon parallax measurements, this system is located at a distance of about 39 light-years (12 parsecs) from the Earth.

Archeron was'nt intentional???
God, I can't believe the level of sloppiness.
You make a promo campaign, for christ's sake, at least get your facts straight, or better yet, get someone who knows anything about the Alien movies! Jeez!

Same thing here about damn Zeta Reticuli, incredible...

Ok, I don't know much about latin, that's my girlfriend's thing. She's not home unfortunately.
Although I know enough to say that Reticula is the plural of Reticulum. (Just like Curriculum>Curricula or Ultimatum>Ultimata). Reticuli is the genitive case, so if I understand correctly, it makes sense, because the stars "are of" the constellation, like they "belong" to it.
So Zeta is simply Z, and basically it's "Z from Reticulum" = Zeta Reticuli

Zeta Reticula, apart from seemingly referring to some techno-new age kinda acid-funky beats music artist(which I actually don't hate >>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmlLJfE3KXg)

is NOTHING, a big fat nothing, if not for some PR agent over there not checking his facts. would'nt be too surprised if they changed it.

UPDATE: Oh, and also Zeta Reticuli is a binary star system and that's fine, but Zeta 2 Reticuli is just the one star. The timeline says " outside the Zeta 2 Reticula System", which IIUC, does'nt make any sense whatsoever.

Reticula vs. Reticuli

Is one singular and the other plural ?

I believe so; but adding a bit to the mystery is that the constellation is actually named Reticulum. This is latin for "net", I believe, but it's used to mean a small net, aka crosshairs -- i.e., a reticle in a telescope.

I'm not sure why the plural Reticuli is used when referring to stars in the constellation. Perhaps it's not plural, but diminutive? Someone with a better background in Latin or astronomy would have to say for sure.
