The noise was actually how I realized that Prometheus was the Alien prequel I'd read about a while back.

funny how that same creepy high picthed sound was in that trailer....

other thing i saw was the description of the you tube trailer...mentioned "Two competing companies"

just re-treading some former, earlier ground. during the eridani project prometheus part, which didn't pan out, i looked for connections among orion and erinadus constellations and the quote from the ** audio message:
"When the kingdom of heaven came down (or descended), the kingdom was in place. Go find your reward."

i came across a star and part of the map where orion's foot meets eridanus. one star from one constellation and three from the other constellation form the footstool, also known as 'the chair of the central one.' it reminded me of the throne in the red tablet.

That's an interesting way of looking at the presented data, but consider the following:

1.- 32 Eridani is a binary star system with no real life evidence of a planetary system, and mainly because of...
2.- How far it is: 345 light years is a big distance when it comes to the Kepler mission research. Most planets have been discovered within the 5-30 light years range, more or less, and for obvious reasons (we'd like to get there someday within our lifetime).
3.- The star in the Starmap we've been using as a guide (could be wrong after all, but hey) mentions 82 Eridani, which evidently harbors a planetary system.

So what I'm saying is that there must be a better way to interpret that data, but I like your idea.

Mother - I think you've done it.
The reason I say that is because I was looking at the mythical resources and their numbers and "Rare Earths" has the number "345".
I am taking that to mean a rare Earth twin planet with a physical location of "345".
Then using this map I spotted 32 Eridanus http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_stars_in_Eridanus which is 345 light years from Earth.

So I found Eridanus and so did you. So we are on the right track. I think you may have found the actual planet! Congrats!

Nah, pursue this if you will but i'll lay my cards on the table now an really bow out. It's no coincidence this viral has sunk from the top of the pack so quickly. I'll check back but really, there's no reason to believe we'll get any more help until June 1st. I know I got trouted for my Y U Ta Ni posts but I'll take those away with me for now knowing that this may perhaps be a key to a door that is not revealed yet.

yes, they've been captured before. only one new frame was added at the end(the one below labelled 'uk vid on 2012-03-26.png'). i thought the ring + 'a' one was new because my screenshot was covered in credits, but it appears it's the same image.

There are 3 flashes that were too quick to see at the end of that trailer (1:13, 1:15, 1:17 or there abouts).

Literally fractions of second flashes (one of which is screenshot, above).

Has anyone been able to capture all of them?

I am currently at work and so can not do so myself

prometheus uk posted a new promo video with a number of new scenes. attached are two i find kinda interesting potentially puzzle-wise: symbols in the orrery and another spectranalysis image in the end.

update / edit: it appears that the spectranalysis ring + 'a' image is old. the screenshot i had of it were covered in credits.
