I remember checking a load of images a million or so pages ago but found nothing. Unless I'm mistaken we'd need to be given a password to unhide the image anyway...

I just checked these files from WI, and no steg found: wc_hp_npthumb.jpg (thumbprint) wc_ii_invest-banner.jpg (Invest 1.0) WeylandInvestInYourFuture.jpg (first downloadable jpg) wc_ii_financial_highlights_banner.jpg (Invest 2.0) WeylandFinancialHighlights.jpg (second downloadable jpg) I checked out the Prometheus star map jpg in a hex editor, and did find the Hiderman signature, but Hiderman can't seem to decrypt it. Also found plenty of fun, if irrelevant, EXIF and Photoshop info. So, apart from the lovely weather, I now have another reason to wish I was at home!
I can see about 5 images on the front page of the WI website alone that might be worth further investigation, but my suggestion would be the Investor Information jpeg files - that might be why they're downloadable... Posted: Fri Mar 30, 2012 9:59 am |

I tried the same piece of software you did on the starmap image and got nothing! Weird?!?!? I was thinking of Steganography myself but wasn't sure where to go with it. I just installed the copy of Hiderman I could find, and grabbed a fresh copy of the starmap jpg from the WI site. Hiderman says "This file doesn't hide any file". 
[edit] To clarify, I grabbed the starmap JPG from the PP website, and StegSpy also said there were no stegs. I checked the file you posted (prometheusmovie-starmap-big.jpg) and StegSpy does show Hiderman. However, when I feed either into Hiderman, it comes up with no hidden files. Hey all,
I am at work so couldn't look into this in too much detail but I have run a quick check on the Weyland Thumbprint image. And got the attached results. While I had the program up I ran a check on all the other files I have downloaded over the course of the Viral/ARG. One of them I got an interesting result!!! The original starmap image from the 6EQUJ (Wow Signal) link on the WI site gave the result in the 2nd attachment.
Unfortunately, as mentioned, I am at work and can not look further. Is anyone else in the position where this could be investigated? I used StegSpy2.1 to run the steganalysis. Attachments are as follows: Thumb Print Image Result from thumb print image Original starmap image Result from starmap image Hope this leads to something interesting.
