I saw that there's a listing of 1760 BCE in the corner of the image. When I do a Google search on that, the top results involve the Code of Hammurabi. There are some interesting things in the Wikipedia entry that may tie into some of the other things we've seen from the game so far:

"One nearly complete example of the Code survives today, on a diorite stele in the shape of a huge index finger,[4] 2.25 m or 7.4 ft tall . The Code is inscribed in the Akkadian language, using cuneiform script carved into the stele"

One thing is bugging me though - this is on Prometheus' UKFacebook ; why are the countdown's due to end 02:00 and 09:00 UK time?

I could understand if the 0200 one is a US release (as this would be about 20:00 in the USA), but the 0900 one would be about 0300 in USA, are they expecting us to be out of bed that early on Good Friday... Laughing

The logo in the available gift show "WEYLAND - YUTANI CORP !!

The string that not to seem a countdow is ... later:

Does anyone can count how many occurences that is representing ?

4294967291...
4294967259...
429496XXXX... ?

Would seem like these would be the countdowns to each week's sphere being opened.

The grid behind the map you have here seems to have location numbers on the sides that change as you move the cursor around the map. And it has a download button- so that invites investigating.

that app looks very suspiciously ARG-relevant, like.
Could be that it's actually not, of course, being a Facebook exclusive.

In any case, yeah, I thought it important to note that those values that have a different format change as well. They're not the same now as they were when I first checked out the app a few hours ago.
I think they represent countdowns too, but just another format. Like what, are these stardates? Hmm.

At the moment, it's like this, I can find:

-3 items that count down to roughly 10 hours and 30 minutes from now
-1 item that counts down to roughly 17 hours and 30 minutes from now

and then those weirdly formatted countdowns which are the exact same for 4 items. They all ended with ...73:4 a few minutes ago and now it's gone down to ...70:4. It is definitely counting down as well.

So what, will each of these items represent a week? Like that first unlocked one that says Week 1?

Also, note that we can control their route obviously by holding them into place, maybe we need to align the stars in a specific way?
The symbols inside the sphere are probably significant.

And how about this counter that gives you the position of your mouse on top right corner of video player?

I think I see way too many tictacs for just one man here...

Oh, yeah and obviously Prometheus Movie UK happily tweets about it:

Have you unearthed the exclusive new images on the 'Discovering Prometheus' app yet? http://on.fb.me/Hos4UH

Damn it - at work and cannot access Facebook here!

Only been able to have a quick glance on my 'phone (and the new site is not set up for mobile use); from what I can see clicking on the image in the above link takes you to an image of the orrery in which the moving planets are interactive.

The light blue (? - phone not great...) one opens a pop-up with the trailers and currently available images; more interesting though is that some of the others have a string of numbers, but at least two have countdowns (13ish and 20ish hours).

Anyone fancy coming and taking over from me at work so I can go home and play with this?!?

Good spot!! I had a quick look and the section that these are located in the CSS is headed ul#wall > li > .details input[type="password"] {

I'm guessing that as they're hidden at the moment, they will be unlocked at some point and we will need to input a password - good job we've got literally thousands to choose from as a result of the wild goose chase of the last 90-odd pages!!!

After downloading the Weyland Investor Prospectus, I went on to examine it in Corel Photopaint. I did the same type of color separations with the histogram and the brightness/contrast filters.

I came up with the same morse code type of blocks at the bottom.

My morse code translation came out to spell....ELLLAEIILINE

I did some other adjustments to see some more smaller type of pixel configurations. Not sure what to make of them, as there are no dashes.

They might be binary. Will have to look into that. Not sure if we can run it through a compiler to get some readable text from it.

I also came across the following website:http://www.sourcegear.com/rescuemissionvault/index.html#devguru

Coding at the inside edge of the blue background for this site looks like some type of binary code. Kinda like what I found filtering that Weyland Prospectus.

Also, I've been noticing a lot of those circle charts, like the one on the site I listed.

The Weyland Prospectus uses something similar.

And when watching the movie trailers...you see the same type of circle charts at the bottom of those civilization presentations.

Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I still suspect that we're as far along as the ARG as the PMs want us... for now.

Given past games, anytime a brilliant group of players like here on uF (myself excluded) get so stymied in game progress, it's most often because there aren't new clues available to be found yet.

It's a good bet that the studio/filmmakers want the PROMETHEUS game to end at a time that's most advantageous to marketing the film. These ARGs don't run at their own speed as a race to solve it as fast as possible, then lay there dead for 6 weeks before the film opens.

Is waiting around boring? Sure. Could they have designed more game elements to keep players busy longer? Seems so now. I highly doubt they designed these doldrums into the game, so *if* we're ahead of schedule, they can't really rush ahead to please a few ARG players. The game serves the movie, not the other way around.

We can only hope that the game will ramp up in activity and quantity as we draw closer to June. We're into April now, so that's a good line to cross.

Hey, MAD MEN is finally back. Pour a drink and relax, enjoy the wait. Smile
