It's not the Vatican. It looks like the master plan of portion of a city but I don't recognize it. It might just be fictional place created with a collection of building forms. This is probably just to show us David's appreciation for human art and culture.

I think the freeze-frame Rorschach images are very significant. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they can be rearranged and layered to reveal something. The little arrows at the borders could be a cipher to suggest how and where to shift each piece of the puzzle. It just doesn't seem likely that symbols like those are just random techno-babble imagery to fill up space.

- In the bibliotheque, there is a book from the italian designer Joe Colombo (that explain why David prefer to sit on the floor)
- the big map look like a futurist Vatican city

I noticed that in the shots where David is talking to the camera, the small rectangular lights up and behind him blink in the same pattern in each shot. Not sure if it's Morse or anything, just something I saw and am wondering about.

That was the part I was questioning as well. You would assume the TIPE was just the Acronym for the Technological, Intellectual, Physical and Emotional.

However, that also makes me want to think that it could be a clue that we have to TIPE/TYPE in for an URL or something.

ROR is would suggest is the Rorschach Test, a type of psychological test - the link has the cards used on the article, but I can't figure out a specific correlation from first glance...
