They sent out an email to a new site: http://sidelines.failtechnologies.com/

Kind of an OOG delivery system for supplementary content.

In terms of the device, I offer the suggestions of shaking it or seeing if it responds to various sound frequencies since breaking past doesn't seem to be working.

Also Nox Ordo speculation,
The phrase "The future in our past" reminds me of what Genus talked about in terms of his role in FAILTECH (link):
Quote:
Don, Daniel, and I, apparently, are decendants of the Sejusu and in our DNA has been a programmed sequence of decisions that will lead to the eventual creation of FAILTECH.

I'm not saying they're related, though; just that the concept is familiar. I wonder if Nox Ordo might also be a result of some group from the future planting a seed in the past.

Netspec is fishing for ideas to turn on the device:
Quote:
Yes. The device, we're still stuck at trying to get it working. We don't know if it's energy source is depeleted or if have to do something to turn it on. I don't see any buttons or any kind of switch that may turn it on. Any ideas?

Also, I don't know if I'm on the right track, but I am bouncing off possible answers between Joseph Dillinger (via his email, joe.dillingerSPLATfailtechnologies.com) and Matthew Johnson (via text message). Basically I had sent JD the same thing MJ sent me:
Quote:
As bright as the stars, as many as we could see only one can walk. Who is he?
and JD responded with:
Quote:
The future in our past I am the present of the forthcoming. When has it been?

So that's what I'm responding to MJ's text with. Maybe MJ will then respond with what I need to send to JD, etc. I'll let you know if that works. Fingers crossed.

Guys, is it just me or are all the messages gone? I made a query about the last 50 messages between a few of the personnel previously queried about and this is what she gave me:

Quote:
LAINSY: Billy Chan and Matthew Johnson has been resgitered to have been within the specified proximity in the last 7 days. Last registered proximity match is on April 12 2012. Apologies, but it seems I could not find any archived messages between the specified people.

Also, in the message which she sent when her systems went down:

Quote:
LAINSY: Apologies. I encontered an error in attempting complete your request. Archived messages seems to be corrupted. Additionally, backups of the messages seems to be corrupted as well. I am awaiting for further instructions from the dev team. Further queries cannot be completed.

I've dropped Ryan Bruno a few questions about it, will see what he replies.

No luck with "order of night" from LAINSY. It also recently hit me to ask about the actual question posed by Maths as well as references to stars and walking in the same instance, so that's on queue now.

I got a Device Initial Report from Netspec about that PDA Althea gave her:
Quote:
I hope things are going well. I know Althea can't be reached at the moment, so I might as well tell what we found out so far regarding the device she handed to me.

We initially thought the device was probably some sort of beacon or maybe a sensor, but turns out the device is much more complex that what it actually is. We haven't got into actually activating the device (we're still working on that), but turns out the device is actually a complex super device as it seems to be build from the ground up using nano technology. We've done some scans, and the outerlayer of the device is a high density nano-crystal-structure based case that prevents scanning of its internals using regular types of scanners (x-rays, MRI, etc). The case is is also highly destruction-proof. It can't be easily drilled through, or cracked underpressure, or burned/melted under extreme temperatures. In simplest terms, it was designed to be virtually indestructable.

Of course, we have some specialized scanners at our disposal and thanks to few adjustements we were able to scan beyond the case ans see what's inside. Initially we thought we might have been doing it wrong, but then upon closer inspection the internals are actually high density nano circuitry suspended in some sort of liquid. Very very sophisticated.

So far, that's as much as we could determine. Until we figure out how to turn it on, we can't really tell what it can do.

I asked LAINSY about order of night just now. I'll update once I get a response.

Hello! I'm traveling until Tuesday but I think this has an expiration date that I may need to answer soon. I texted Matthew Johnson via the FAILTECH hotline and got a response from him:
Quote:
FROM Matthew Johnson, AMSR Alpha :: As bright as the stars, as many as we could see only one can walk. Who is he?
I have been away all weekend but he contacted me again when I didn't respond:
Quote:
FROM Matthew Johnson, AMSR Alpha :: Awaiting your answer. Failure will result in termination.
I could use your help if you have time! Or if someone could ask LAINSY maybe it would know?

Decodes directly to
Code:

Looks like hex. I will pursue and update.

EDIT: Decodes to thefutureinourpast.

What now?
